The GTA 6 leak scene has woken up again. Cyberleek, the leaker that has been dripping out unreleased footage from Rockstar’s next open world, stayed silent after Rockstar Games put its Extended Look at GTA 6 on Netflix a few weeks ago. That silence is over – and the comeback is the longest piece of leaked gameplay this source has pushed out so far.
Why everyone assumed the leaker was done
During the quiet weeks, a lot of people figured Cyberleek had finally been caught. Rockstar and publisher Take-Two Interactive have been going after whoever is behind the leaks, with the hunt reportedly reaching across platforms including Discord and Xbox. Instead of an arrest, though, the account eventually resurfaced with a short tease and then dropped the new footage.
What the new footage actually shows
The clip is a mix of story and open-world activity, with Jason front and center:
- Jason visits the Thrillbilly Mud Club, where he briefly interacts with Lucia – this looks like one of the “emergent dates” the pair can trigger.
- The sequence then moves into the mud-racing activity, giving another look at GTA 6’s open-world events.
- Jason is covered in tattoos, which hints at how deep character customization goes.
- Later on, Jason heads off on another quest with a friend, without Lucia, and the footage includes new cutscenes.
Those cutscenes are the reason you should think twice before hunting the video down: they may contain story spoilers, so anyone who wants to go into GTA 6 clean is better off skipping it. If you’d rather stick to officially confirmed details, we’ve covered things like the game’s rebuilt weather system and the in-game social media feeds in separate articles.
Two different builds in one leak?
Jason doesn’t look consistent across the whole clip. In the later part he sports a different hairstyle, which suggests the material was captured at another point in development or comes from a newer build. Dyed hair is part of that look too, adding another small data point about how much you’ll be able to tweak the character.
One more detail is already doing the rounds online: the footage shows Jason without clothing during part of the sequence. That lands right after a recent Rockstar interview mentioned players taking control of Jason while he’s in the shower, a line that instantly turned into a running joke in the community. The new clip effectively answers the meme, while also showing off more meaningful details about his model.
What it means for you
Expect the video to vanish fast – leaks like this rarely stay online for long once Rockstar’s lawyers get involved. For now, it’s another substantial look at GTA 6 ahead of release, possibly arriving before Rockstar’s own next showcase or Extended Look. Official information still lives on the GTA 6 website.
