League of Legends

League of Legends is a free-to-play MOBA from Riot Games and, after more than fifteen years, still one of the most played games in the world. Five against five, three lanes, one base and a different group of people every time. The barrier to entry is high mainly because the game doesn’t explain a lot of things, and other players don’t have the patience for that.
This section is a guide for players who want to understand the game before they lose interest: how to choose a role and your first champions, what to do with runes and items, how to read the map and ward, what the terms other players yell at you mean, and how to find your way through seasons and patches. We write for the current patch and go through the texts again after big changes.
