The gaming part of Festival Life! is growing again. The organizers have announced a brand-new Indie Zone, a dedicated space for independent game developers who want to show their project to a crowd of tens of thousands of visitors. Registration is already open on the festival website.
When and where it happens
The gaming section spreads across the whole of pavilion P and runs over the weekend of November 20-22. Dozens of exhibitors are set to appear there, and the organizers expect more than 20,000 visitors across the three days.
It is not just a public-facing event, either. The festival is a meeting point for Czech game studios, publishers, media, esports organizations, content creators and other professionals from the local scene – and with the Indie Zone, you can now sit among them as an exhibitor rather than a guest.
What the Indie Zone offers
The Indie Zone is the latest addition to a gaming program that keeps expanding into new corners of the industry so that every visitor finds something for themselves. For developers, the package is built around visibility:
- a proper space to present and promote your game on the show floor
- direct contact with thousands of players who can try it out
- your game’s trailer aired during a commercial break in the main stage broadcast
The full details and the complete contents of the indie developer package are listed on the Indie Zone page of the event website.
How to sign up
The process is straightforward. Fill in the registration form on the festival website, buy the special exhibitor ticket, and once the payment goes through you officially become an exhibitor at Festival Life!
The organizers say they are looking forward to new projects and interesting ideas that will show visitors the best of independent game development – not only the Czech kind.
