Bandai Namco has pulled back the curtain on the final stretch of the Tekken 8 Season 3 pass. A new trailer, shown alongside Evo France 2026, confirmed release dates for Roger Jr. and gave you a very short, very intense first look at Baki the Grappler villain Yujiro Hanma.
Roger Jr. arrives on November 11
The kangaroo boxer and his joey are the headline act of the trailer. Roger Jr. takes up almost three of the video’s four minutes, with a detailed gameplay showcase of how the marsupial fighter moves and punches. Early access starts on November 11, with the full release following on November 16.
That slots him neatly into the Season 3 schedule after Kunimitsu in June and Bob in August. Both Roger Jr. and Yujiro are covered by the Season 3 pass, which rounds out its promise of four bonus characters.
Yujiro Hanma: a teaser, not a date
The Yujiro portion is tucked away at the very end of the trailer, and it is brief. You get a handful of shots of his famously toothy grin, his bulging muscles and his flexibility – exactly the details fans were watching for, given how expressive the character is in his source material.
What you do not get is a release date. The teaser suggests work on the anime guest fighter is still in progress, but Bandai Namco did commit to a follow-up: a new Yujiro trailer will premiere alongside the Tekken World Tour Finals on January 17, 2027. That is three months out, so gameplay should realistically be part of that showing.
Looking at how Bandai Namco has paced Tekken 8 DLC so far, there has usually been a gap of a few months between characters. By the time the January trailer airs, two months will have passed since Roger Jr. arrived – which makes a release date announcement at that event the logical next step. Nothing about Yujiro’s launch has been confirmed yet, though.
What this means for your Season 3 pass
- Kunimitsu – released in June
- Bob – released in August
- Roger Jr. – early access November 11, full release November 16
- Yujiro Hanma – teased, no release date, new trailer January 17, 2027
Previous passes brought in Heihachi, Armor King, Anna and Final Fantasy 16 protagonist Clive Rosfield. Earlier passes cost $30 each; the Season 3 pass is currently listed at $34.99. If you already own it, Yujiro is the last name on the list – and the one you will be waiting on into 2027.
