ARC Raiders is localized into twelve languages. English and German are both on the list, but not every language is: Czech and Slovak, for example, are missing from both the interface and the subtitles. The voice-over is in English in every version. Here’s the full list and what you can do if your language isn’t supported.

Why some languages are missing
The studio hasn’t commented on its reasons, and any “internal analyses” floating around online are speculation. The general economics of localization, however, work like this:
- Translation isn’t a one-off cost. ARC Raiders is a live service game. Every update adds text that has to be translated, tested and translated again. Adding a language means a commitment for years.
- It doesn’t work without local testing. A translation needs QA directly in the game. Without it, you get cut-off text and nonsensical descriptions, which hurts the brand more than the translation itself would help.
- It comes down to market size. Polish is on the list, Czech isn’t, and the difference is mainly the number of players, not how loud they are.
What that means in practice: unless the audience for a missing language such as Czech grows significantly for this particular game, official support for it won’t arrive. What to do if your language isn’t supported
- We don’t recommend unofficial translations. ARC Raiders is an online game with anti-cheat; tampering with game files is asking for trouble, and in the best case the mod simply won’t work.
- Learn the terminology, not the language. The game repeats a few dozen terms (raid, extraction, stash, blueprint, ARC). Once you know them, you can work out the rest.
Where you struggle most without English
You can pick up the gameplay by watching, but without the text you miss two things:
- Gear and mod stats. The differences between weapons and their upgrades are described in text, and they matter in a raid.
- Lore and contracts. The story is told through data fragments and conversations with NPCs. Without English it stays hidden from you. The gameplay doesn’t suffer, the atmosphere does.
