A brand new Halo release is officially locked in for 2028 – except it isn’t a game. Prime 1 Studio opened pre-orders for a 1/4 scale Master Chief statue, and the price tag of $1,599 will put it well outside the budget of plenty of fans.
What Prime 1 Studio showed
The statue was announced during Prime 1 Studio’s Next Level Showcase 19, with pre-orders opening immediately. Master Chief is based on his look from Halo: Campaign Evolved and stands on the corpse of a dead Elite in an action pose. The base is Halo-themed and built around that scene.
You also get two swappable arm sets, so you can display the Spartan either with an Assault Rifle or with an Energy Sword – two of the most recognizable weapons in the series. A back-mounted Assault Rifle is included as a bonus part.
Why it costs $1,599
Several things push the price up. The run is limited to just 500 units worldwide, so owners join a genuinely small club. The piece is also large: in 1/4 scale it measures 78 cm high, 54 cm wide and 49 cm deep, which makes it a centerpiece rather than a shelf filler. On top of that, Prime 1 Studio added LED illumination in the base, in Master Chief’s helmet and in the Energy Sword.

What it means for Halo fans
The Halo franchise is in an odd spot. Since Halo Studios (formerly 343 Industries) took over from Bungie, a large part of the community feels the studio hasn’t recaptured the magic of the original games – yet the fan base remains passionate and Halo: Campaign Evolved landed well. That game appeared to tease a Halo 2 remake, but nothing is confirmed until Halo Studios says so, and the developer hasn’t revealed its next steps.
