Vodafone keeps putting money and attention behind the domestic scene – local talent, semi-pro squads and plain amateur players – and this year is no different. The Vodafone Talent League is one of the pillars holding that ecosystem up, a place where anyone curious about how good competitive Counter-Strike can feel gets to find out firsthand.
LPH Gaming took all three seasons – and are moving on
All three of this year’s seasons went to LPH Gaming. After that golden hattrick the roster is looking at bigger targets and is ready to hand the throne over to whoever comes next. Translation: the top spot is genuinely open, and it could be yours.
VTL does not gatekeep by rank. Players of every skill level are welcome, and the only hard requirement is a five-man team. If you want a sense of what the Czech competitive scene looks like one level up, we’ve covered plenty of it – from Tipsport Open Cup in Prague to the international runs of SINNERS.
Seven qualifiers, seven chances
The league opens with seven separate qualifiers. Miss out once and nothing is lost – the experience you collect from a bad bracket is exactly what pushes a team forward next time. You can come back again and again, and if you feel like it, play all seven tournaments, whatever your reason for signing up.
- Seven standalone qualifiers to enter
- Open to all skill levels
- Five players per team
- Online stages feeding into a LAN finals
From online brackets to a real stage
VTL isn’t just another online ladder. It’s a launchpad: work your way through the online portion with your friends and you can end up at the LAN finals, playing on stage in front of a live crowd. That’s the part amateur players rarely get to experience – and the part that tends to stick with them. Registration and details run through Vodafone.
