A new weekly update has landed on the global servers of AION 2 on Steam (Europe and Americas). The headline change is a big quality-of-life win for everyone who bought a Founder’s Pack: the items are no longer locked to a single character. On top of that you get better Raw Leather drops, a new Kina item at the Wind Breeze Merchants and a handful of fixes. Note that this is the global build with eight classes – don’t mix it up with the Korean version.
Founder’s Pack: Skins and Titles on every character
If you own a Founder’s Pack, you can now use Skins, Titles and other pack items on your other characters and on other servers too.
- Founder’s Pack owners get access to a dedicated Shop where they can pick up – for free – the items they don’t own yet, based on their pack tier.
- This free Founder’s Pack Shop stays available for all characters on all servers until a closure notice is posted.
- Items you already own from your Founder’s Pack won’t be handed out again. If duplicates do end up sitting in your inventory, the team plans to add an option to discard them later on.
- Skins received as duplicates through the dedicated Shop won’t count against the purchase limit for paid Skins. A fix that prevents duplicate entries in the first place is planned for a future update.
- If a Founder’s Pack purchase fails to go through, close the client and try again.

Morphing and drop rates
- The Substance Morph formula that turns Sealed Wings into Enhance Stones now has a weekly cap of 20 Morphs per server.
- The drop rate for “Raw Leather” from monsters in “Chaotic Lower Reshanta” has been increased.
- The drop rate for “Raw Leather” from monsters in “Verteron” and “Altgard” has been increased as well.
In practice that means farming leather in the early zones and in Lower Reshanta is less painful, while mass-morphing Sealed Wings into Enhance Stones is now limited per week. If you’re still figuring out which stones go where, we have a whole breakdown of Manastones and Soulstones.
New item at the Wind Breeze Merchants
A new Kina purchase has been added to the Wind Breeze Merchants.
- Where to find it: [In-Game Menu] > [Shop] > [Wind Breeze Merchants] > [Special] > click the item
- Sales period: from the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, October 6, 2026 (PDT) until before the scheduled maintenance on Wednesday, December 15, 2026 (PST)
- Item: Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1) – limited to 10 purchases per server per week
- Price: 1 unit for 25,000 Kina
Bug fixes
- Fixed the incorrectly displayed maximum number of Map Pins you can place on the map – you can place up to 30 Map Pins.
- [Asmodian] Challenge Season Missions: fixed the issue where the “Daeva of Glorious Deeds” mission in the Weekly Missions couldn’t be completed properly.
- Fixed the “Movement Controls” option showing up multiple times under Settings > Key Settings > General.
- Fixed certain Emote commands not working properly in chat.
