Daevas, the temporary maintenance on the global servers of AION 2 (Europe and Americas) is finished and logins are working again. Besides server stabilization, the patch brings a very practical change: the four wings you earn from quests now carry noticeably more Flight Power. If you haven’t jumped in yet, AION 2 has its own page on Steam.
Compensation for the downtime
As a thank-you for your patience, everyone gets a compensation item in the mail:
- Special Daeva Supply chest × 1
- Claim period: 7 days
Don’t sit on it — after the claim window closes, the reward is gone. This isn’t the first time the global version has handed out compensation after an unplanned stop; we covered the previous round in our article about the servers coming back online.
Main update details
- Server Stabilization
- The Flight Power of the 4 wings obtainable through quests has been increased by 500 each (2,000 in total).
New Flight Power values
- Daeva’s Lesser Wings (Elyos/Asmodian): 2,000 → 2,500
- Daeva’s Intermediate / Superior / Ultimate Wings (Elyos/Asmodian): 500 → 1,000
In practice that means longer flight time on quest wings for both factions, so moving around the world and crossing the gaps you can’t simply run across gets more comfortable — especially while you’re still leveling and don’t have better wings yet.
