A small but welcome hotfix has landed in Dune: Awakening on Steam, and this time it is all about one very specific kind of pain: getting your character wedged into level geometry with no way out. Two fixes, both in the game’s main hubs.
The update requires a client-side download. If it does not show up on its own, restart your Steam client. Servers are coming back up shortly after the patch goes live.
Fixes
Fixed a spot near the Atreides Residency in Arrakeen where you could get stuck on one of the antenna stays.
Fixed an issue where the Unstuck button could fail to actually get you unstuck in Arrakeen and Harko Village.
What it means for you
If you have been wandering around Arrakeen and suddenly found yourself glued to a piece of scenery near the Atreides Residency, that particular trap is gone. More importantly, the safety net itself was broken: the Unstuck button is supposed to be the last resort when the world grabs hold of you, and in both Arrakeen and Harko Village it could simply refuse to work. Now it does its job in those cities again.
No other changes are listed in this hotfix – no balance tweaks, no new content, just the two fixes above.
