Short notice for all Daevas on the global servers: NCSOFT is running maintenance on its platform services. It’s not a server downtime in the usual sense – the game itself isn’t listed among the affected services. The only thing that goes offline is account registration, and only for half an hour.
When the maintenance happens
- Start: October 13 at 14:00 PDT / 23:00 CEST
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Affected services: account registration
What it means for you
Once the maintenance begins, you won’t be able to create an account until it’s finished. If you were planning to set up a brand-new account that evening – for yourself or for a friend who wants to jump into AION 2 on Steam – either do it before 23:00 CEST or wait out the half hour.
NCSOFT also notes that the schedule and the details can change at any time. Any changes will be announced as an update to the same notice, so it’s worth checking back if you’re sitting and waiting for registration to come back.
Where to go next
We cover every downtime on the global servers separately – including the longer October 14 maintenance, which is a different event with a different scope. We also wrote up the previous round of downtime and the compensation that followed it. Everything else we’ve published on the global version is collected in our AION 2 news hub.
