NCSOFT has announced another round of scheduled server maintenance for the global version of AION 2. While the work is in progress, you won’t be able to log in – the game servers are the only affected service, but that’s exactly the part you need to play.
When the servers go down
- Start: October 13, 2026 at 23:30 PDT / October 14, 2026 at 08:30 CEST
- Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes
- Affected services: game servers
If you’re in Europe, that means the morning of October 14 – plan your dailies and any group content around it. If you’re on the North American side, the downtime lands late in the evening of October 13.
What you need to watch out for
- The moment maintenance begins, you get disconnected from the game. Don’t start anything you can’t finish beforehand.
- The schedule and the details can change at any time. NCSOFT says any changes will be announced as an update to the original notice.
What’s actually in the patch?
That’s the part NCSOFT is keeping quiet for now. The announcement only says that the details of the update will be shared at a later time, so there’s no content list, no balance changes and no bug fixes to go through yet. As soon as the full notes land, you’ll find them in our AION 2 news section.
For context on what the recent updates have been doing, we covered the October 7 patch notes as well as the previous maintenance that touched quest wings. If you’re new to the global version and still finding your footing among the eight starting classes, our AION 2 guides are a good place to start, and the game itself lives on its Steam store page.
