Diablo 4 is not the only Diablo getting new content in 2026. Diablo II: Resurrected relaunched in February as the Infernal Edition with the new Reign of the Warlock DLC, and the free-to-play Diablo Immortal still gets updates every two weeks. This guide explains what each game includes, what it costs, how both differ from Diablo 4 and who each one suits. Everything reflects the state on 19 October 2026.
Diablo II: Resurrected – Infernal Edition
The Infernal Edition came out on Steam on 11 February 2026. It bundles the remaster of the original Diablo II, the Lord of Destruction expansion and the new Reign of the Warlock DLC, which adds the Warlock class, a new endgame, a Loot Filter and the Chronicle.

The game has eight classes, co-op for up to eight players and ladder seasons. On 19 October 2026 the Infernal Edition cost €39.99 on the Czech Steam store. Check the current price on Steam, as discounts change it.
Languages in D2R
Diablo II: Resurrected supports 12 languages, including Polish, but Czech is not one of them. Diablo 4 is in the same position; our Diablo 4 languages guide has the full list.
D2R on Game Pass
As of 19 October 2026, Diablo II: Resurrected is in the Game Pass catalogue on both PC and console (checked on the Czech market). PC Game Pass also includes the original Diablo and Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.
Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal is a free-to-play action RPG set between Diablo II and Diablo III. It has 10 classes, including a new Warlock. Blizzard updates it every two weeks, and in 2026 it ran a collaboration with Spawn.
We do not cover Immortal’s platforms, microtransactions or languages here, because we could not confirm them with two sources as of the verification date. The latest details are on the official Immortal site.
The Warlock in three games
2026 is the year of the Warlock for the series. The class arrived in Diablo 4 with Lord of Hatred, in Diablo II: Resurrected with Reign of the Warlock and in Diablo Immortal as a new class. These are three different games with their own skills and mechanics, so experience from one only carries over in broad strokes. How the Diablo 4 version works is covered in our Warlock guide.

Prices are from the Czech Steam store in euros on 19 October 2026. Besides the base game, Diablo 4 sells its expansions separately and as the Age of Hatred Collection; see our editions and price guide. Diablo 4 also needs an internet connection and a Battle.net account, even for solo play.
Are they worth it in 2026?
This is our editorial take, not hard data. Diablo II: Resurrected makes most sense if you want the series classic in a modern form and the new Reign of the Warlock content appeals to you. It is also a good warm-up for Diablo 5, which brings back Diablo II ideas such as stat requirements, item sizes in the inventory, sets, runes and runewords. With Game Pass you can try D2R without paying extra.
Diablo Immortal is the cheapest way into the series, since the game itself costs nothing. It fits if you want to try Diablo before spending money on any entry, or if the story between Diablo II and III interests you. Regular updates mean there is always something new going on.
Diablo 4 remains the main game in the series, with seasons and the most content. What we know about the sequel is collected in our Diablo 5 overview.
