As of 20 October 2026, Baldur’s Gate 3 costs €59.99 on Steam with no discount running. It isn’t on Game Pass, PS Plus Premium only offers a two-hour trial, and there’s no Switch 2 version, nor has one been announced. Below you’ll find the prices, what the Digital Deluxe Edition includes, which platforms the game is on and where things stand with DLC.
How much Baldur’s Gate 3 costs
We checked the prices on 20 October 2026. On Steam the game costs €59.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition is sold as a DLC upgrade to the base game for €9.75.

On the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store, the Deluxe Edition is its own product at a higher price, and prices depend on your region. In the Czech versions of both stores, neither edition was discounted on the day we checked. The game is also sold on GOG.
There are no microtransactions. Nothing in the game is sold separately. You can play offline, and you only need a connection for multiplayer.
What the Digital Deluxe Edition includes
According to the official FAQ, the Digital Deluxe Edition contains:

- digital soundtrack, digital artbook and digital character sheets
On console, the soundtrack, artbook and character sheets don’t come straight from the store. You download them from the Larian Studios website once you link your Larian account in-game.
Besides the digital editions, the official website also offers a Physical Deluxe Edition, which is available in Larian’s merch store as well.
Platforms and release dates
The official FAQ lists these platforms: PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 5, Xbox, Mac and GeForce NOW.
- PC (Steam): 3 August 2023.
- PlayStation 5: 6 September 2023, with the Digital Deluxe Edition from 3 September 2023.
- Mac: support arrived with Patch 3, announced on 22 September 2023.
- Xbox Series X|S: since December 2023.
On Xbox the game is part of Xbox Play Anywhere, covering Xbox Series X|S and PC, and carries the “Optimized for Xbox Series X|S” label. Xbox One isn’t among the supported platforms, so the previous Xbox generation is out. The game is rated PEGI 18.
If you’re playing with friends, the platform matters less than it used to: since Patch 8, crossplay works between PC, Mac, PS5 and Xbox through a Larian account, including cross-platform progression. Is Baldur’s Gate 3 on Game Pass or PS Plus?
Game Pass: no. As of 20 October 2026, the Microsoft Store doesn’t list BG3 in any subscription, so you have to buy it.
PS Plus: the game isn’t in the PS Plus Extra catalogue. PS Plus Premium subscribers can play a two-hour trial of the full game (Game Trial). After that, you need to buy it.
Is Baldur’s Gate 3 coming to Switch 2?
The game isn’t on Switch 2 and hasn’t been announced for it. Larian’s Swen Vincke wrote in a Reddit AMA in January 2026: “We would have loved to but it wasn’t our decision to make.” According to Game Informer, a Switch 2 version likely won’t happen.
DLC and future content
Larian hasn’t released any DLC and isn’t planning further major updates. Patch 8 on 15 April 2025 is, according to the studio, the final major patch: no new story content is coming, only bug fixes.
