Valorant crosshair codes: import, export, /cc copy and custom colours

Valorant crosshair codes: import, export, /cc copy and custom colours

You do not have to build your Valorant crosshair slider by slider. The whole setup can be packed into a code, sent to a friend and imported with one click. And if you are spectating a player whose crosshair you like, you can copy it with the /cc command. This guide covers exporting and importing codes, copying, custom hex colours and how many profiles you get. The steps follow Riot’s patch notes 4.05 and 5.04 and are valid as of 20 October 2026.

Where to find the crosshair settings

Everything crosshair-related lives under Settings → Crosshair. At the top is a preview showing how your crosshair currently looks. Next to Crosshair Profile there are two small arrow icons: the up arrow exports, the down arrow imports.

The crosshair is set up separately for three situations: Primary (regular aiming), Aim Down Sights and Sniper Scope. Keep that in mind for colour and line length, because you adjust each part on its own.

How to export your crosshair as a code

Codes have been in the game since patch 4.05:

  1. Open Settings → Crosshair.
  2. Select the profile you want to share.
  3. Click the up arrow icon next to Crosshair Profile.
  4. The game generates a code and copies it to your clipboard.
  5. Paste it wherever you need, for example into a chat with a friend.

The code is plain text, so you can also keep it in your notes. When you play on another PC or accidentally mess up your settings, it is right there.

How to import a crosshair code

  1. Copy the crosshair code.
  2. Open Settings → Crosshair.
  3. Click the down arrow icon next to Crosshair Profile.
  4. Paste the code into the field that opens.
  5. Click Import.
  6. Check the preview at the top and give the profile a name.

Riot itself recommends giving each imported profile a unique name. Once you have imported a few codes, names are the quickest way to tell them apart.

How to copy a spectated player’s crosshair

Since patch 5.04 you do not even need a code. When you are spectating another player and like their crosshair, type one of these commands in chat:

  • /crosshair copy
  • /cc

The game saves the spectated player’s crosshair as a new profile. Your own is not overwritten, so you can switch back at any time by selecting your profile in the settings.

Custom colour with a hex code

You are not limited to the preset colours. Since patch 5.04 you can enter your own:

  1. Open Settings → Crosshair.
  2. Pick the part you are editing: Primary, Aim Down Sights or Sniper Scope.
  3. In the Color dropdown, choose Custom.
  4. Enter a hex code, a six-digit RGB value.

If you enter an invalid code, the crosshair reverts to the previous colour. If nothing changes, check that your code really has six characters.

Horizontal and vertical lines separately

Since patch 5.04 you can tune the horizontal and vertical length of the crosshair lines independently. You will find it under Primary or Aim Down Sights in the Inner/Outer Length settings. To unlock independent tuning, turn off the chain icon in the middle. The left slider then sets the horizontal line and the right slider the vertical line. That way your crosshair does not have to be symmetrical in every direction.

How many crosshair profiles you can have

Since patch 5.04 the game has room for 15 profiles, up from 10. That is enough for your own crosshair, a few imported from friends and some experiments.

Your crosshair and the rest of your setup

The crosshair is just one piece. How to tune the game for higher FPS and what your PC needs is covered in our system requirements guide. Which guns you will use your crosshair with most is in our weapons guide, and what each agent does is in our article on agents and roles. If you play with a fixed group, share codes within the team, for example when you get ready for Premier.
