Prices on PlayStation and Xbox

We checked the console stores for the Czech market, which sell in Czech crowns. The table shows the price in the Czech store on 20 October 2026, so prices in your region will differ.

The Czech PlayStation Store had no discount on DayZ on 20 October 2026. In the Czech Microsoft Store, the prices in the table above apply.

On PlayStation, DayZ is listed as a PS4 game that, according to the store, can also be played on PS5. Online play requires PS Plus, and there is no other way to play DayZ. On Xbox the game runs on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and the Microsoft Store also lists cloud play and Xbox Play Anywhere. On every platform a server holds up to 60 players.

DayZ on Game Pass

The PC version of DayZ has been on Game Pass since 8 April 2026, in Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, Essential and PC Game Pass. On 20 October 2026 the Microsoft Store lists it as included with the subscription. The Frostline and Badlands expansions are not part of Game Pass, you buy them separately.

On PC you therefore have two routes: buy the game on Steam or play it through Game Pass. The hardware requirements listed on Steam are covered in our guide to DayZ system requirements.

DayZ on PS Plus

In August 2025, DayZ was a monthly PS Plus game for Essential, Extra and Premium members. The Frostline expansion was not part of that offer. On 20 October 2026 the PlayStation Store shows no PS Plus offer for the game, so DayZ is currently not in PS Plus and you buy it at the regular price.

Livonia is part of the base game

Livonia used to be a separate paid DLC. Since update 1.25 on 27 May 2024 it has been part of the base game and is no longer sold separately. Anyone who already owned the base game got Livonia for free, and owners of both the game and Livonia also received the soundtrack. The price of the base game went up at the same time.

Today the base game therefore contains two maps, Chernarus and Livonia. The third map, Sakhal, comes with DayZ Frostline from 15 October 2024, and the fourth and largest, Nasdara (267 km²), with DayZ Badlands from 15 October 2026. What each map brings is covered in our DayZ DLC guide.

Languages

On PC (Steam) and Xbox the game includes Czech for the interface and subtitles, on PlayStation it does not. On PlayStation the interface is available in Chinese (simplified and traditional), English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian and Spanish. The game has no voice-over in any language. Both expansions on Steam support the same languages as the base game.

Which edition to choose

  • You just want to try it: the base game with Chernarus and Livonia, or Game Pass on PC.
  • You also want the soundtrack and digital maps: the Deluxe Edition.
  • You want the winter map Sakhal right away: the Cool Edition, which includes Frostline.
  • The Nasdara desert appeals to you: Badlands is bought separately on top of any edition.
