BRUTE is a Czech esports organization that used to compete as Team Brute and was bought by the energy drink brand Semtex in 2021. It plays Counter-Strike and League of Legends, and in 2026 it completely rebuilt its CS2 roster into an international one. As the fourth-placed team at last year’s championship it has a guaranteed spot at Tipsport MČR CS 2026. This page keeps you up to date on the roster, results and history of BRUTE. News from the scene is in the Esports section.
Key facts
Until 2020 BRUTE went by the name Team Brute. It built its first CS:GO roster in September 2017, and Ondřej Šišmiš has been connected with the organization from the start. In June 2021 the team was bought by the Semtex brand from the Kofola group and became part of the Semtex Republic project. At the time BRUTE had around thirty players in CS:GO, Dota 2 and League of Legends, and the parties did not disclose the price of the deal.
Today BRUTE plays Counter-Strike 2 and League of Legends in the Czech-Slovak league Hitpoint Masters. On social media it goes by brute_gg1 on X, brute.gg on Instagram and Facebook, and brute_gg on Twitch.

The 2026 rebuild
In February Polish player hfah arrived from Betclic Apogee, and in March nbqq, who had spent many years at Dynamo Eclot and left after its professional division was put on hold. Macedonian aidKiT joined in May, followed in July by ZEDKO, a founding player of SINNERS, where his time ended in January 2026. At the end of August the lineup was completed by Lithuanian tAk on loan from G2 Ares. Going the other way, KAD1M left BRUTE during the year and now plays for LPH Gaming.
Results
Counter-Strike
At Tipsport MČR CS 2025 in Brno BRUTE reached the semifinals, where it lost 0:2 to Dynamo Eclot. In the third-place match it then fell 1:2 to UNiTY and finished fourth. Fourth place was still enough for a direct invite to this year’s edition. How BRUTE did at the September Tipsport Open Cup in Prague is covered in my Open Cup report.
League of Legends
In LoL BRUTE reached the Hitpoint Winter 2026 final, but lost 0:3 to NightBirds on 7 March. Second place meant qualifying for EMEA Masters 2026 Winter, where the team went out in the opening stage. How the road from Hitpoint Masters to Europe works is explained on the LoL esports page.
Where to follow BRUTE
BRUTE posts roster news on X (brute_gg1) and Instagram (brute.gg), and its own broadcasts run on the brute_gg Twitch channel. The official website brute.gg has not been updated for a long time, so look for current information on social media instead. I follow Czech scene matches in the Esports section.
Get involved: Tipsport MČR CS 2026
BRUTE has a direct invite to Tipsport MČR CS 2026, the Czech Championship in Counter-Strike, together with SINNERS, Dynamo Eclot and UNiTY. The organizer’s rules require at least three players from Czechia or Slovakia on the roster, and BRUTE’s current five has two. As of 21 October 2026 the club has not officially announced which roster it will field. The main stage starts online on 4 November and the final is played on 22 November in Brno. The remaining four spots go to open qualifiers running from 10 to 31 October, and anyone with a five-player team can sign up. For up-and-coming rosters there is the Vodafone Talent League, and the road all the way to a Major is described on the CS2 Major page.
