The domestic Counter-Strike championship Tipsport MČR CS is running with eight teams this year, and that number matters more than it sounds. Half of the field is locked behind invites, but the other half is completely open – which means that with the current state of the Czech and Slovak scene, a team built from scratch can realistically fight its way in.
Who is already in
Invites went to the TOP 4 organizations from last year’s MČR. The following teams start with a guaranteed slot:
- SINNERS
- Dynamo Eclot
- UNiTY
- BRUTE

Four open qualifiers during October
The second half of the starting list comes from open qualifiers, and the entry barrier is as low as it gets: put together a five-player team and sign up. Anyone can enter, with no prior results required.
There are four qualifiers in total and each winner moves up into the main event. The dates run through the end of October, so there’s no reason to sit on your registration. You can also enter all four tournaments and stack your chances – nothing stops you from trying again if the first attempt doesn’t go your way.
How the whole event is structured
This season’s peak is split into three parts:
- Open qualifiers – four tournaments during October, open to everyone.
- The prelude stage – the qualified teams are joined by the invited domestic giants.
- The title match – the fight for the domestic throne takes place live in Brno on Sunday, November 22.
For anyone who has been grinding amateur leagues, this is the single biggest opportunity of the season on the local scene. Tickets for the event are handled through the official ticket page.
