AION 2 – Ludra, two-hour raid limit

AION 2 (global): You’ll Get Two Hours for Ludra as the Raid Time Limit Doubles

Good news for everyone who has been fighting the timer on Ludra more than the boss itself. In the global version of AION 2 (Europe and America), the time limit for the Abyssal Forge: Ludra raid goes from 1 hour to 2 hours.

What’s changing

  • Raid: Abyssal Forge: Ludra (Sanctuary for a Force)
  • Time limit per run: from 1 hour to 2 hours
  • Entry requirements stay the same: Normal from item level 2,800, Hard from 3,000

The developers announced the change in today’s live stream (November 6) on the official AION 2 Twitch channel.

Ludra came back with the November 4 patch, where every run had a 1-hour limit. The exact date the new limit goes live hasn’t been announced yet.

What it means for you

An hour was too little for a lot of Forces. Two wipes on mechanics and there was barely any time left for another attempt. With two hours you can practise the mechanics calmly, adjust your tactics and reach the boss without the timer breathing down your neck. It helps most for groups right at the item level edge for Normal and for Forces just starting on Hard.

Rewards stay the same: Normal and Hard drop the same item types, Hard just has a higher drop rate. Everything about Ludra’s events and rewards is in our Ludra overview, and what to do after Ludra is covered in the endgame guide.

Where next

If you don’t have the game yet, you’ll find it on the AION 2 Steam page.
