So the difference is ten euros, and it’s purely the Supporter Pack, meaning cosmetics: it doesn’t buy you any gameplay advantage. Why the price will go up later
This isn’t a guess but a statement from the developers in the official early access FAQ: they’re deliberately selling the game cheaper while it’s still in development, and they’ll raise the price with the full release. If you buy now, you get the lower entry price and all future updates at no extra cost.
According to the studio, early access should last roughly one to two years. Deeper progression, seasonal content, more maps, weapons, vehicles including fighter jets, and new objective variants are due to arrive before the full release.
Is it worth buying now?
The honest answer: it depends on how well you tolerate an unfinished game. The arguments for buying now are the lower price and the game’s huge player base: over 1.25 million copies sold on the first day and more than 340,000 people played at the same time, so you won’t be short of teammates.
The state of the game after launch speaks against buying. On 11 September 2026, its Steam rating was “Mixed” with 66.6% positive reviews out of 25,767, and the negative feedback mainly targets matchmaking queues lasting tens of minutes to hours and crashes after long waits. Very few people complain about the gameplay itself. If paying for something that’s still being fine-tuned bothers you, wait. Just keep in mind that you’ll pay more later.
When to expect a sale
For a game that’s been on the market for a month and is heading for a price increase, there’s no reason to expect a big discount any time soon. Steam runs large seasonal events (the autumn, winter, spring and summer sales), and fresh titles usually get a token ten to twenty percent off in them, if anything at all. Given that the developers actually want to raise the price, it’s more likely that today’s €39.99 is about the lowest price the game will have than that it will sell for less in the foreseeable future.
