Respawns in ARC Raiders don’t run on a simple loop. Every enemy has its own timer, and when that timer runs out, the game checks whether anyone is standing nearby. If someone is, the spawn is blocked. This single rule is the difference between calm looting and a Bastion showing up behind your back.
Respawn timer table
| Enemy | Respawn | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Hornet | 3 min | fastest in the game |
| Wasp | 3 min | fastest in the game |
| Fireball | 4 min | area denial |
| Pop | 4 min | explosive threat |
| Shredder | 5 min | high damage |
| Snitch | 5 min | calls in others |
| Leaper | 6 min | standard |
| Bastion | 6 min | tank |
| Bombardier | 6 min | linked to the Spotter |
| Spotter | 6 min, or 1 min while the Bombardier is alive | kill the Bombardier first |
| Tick | 6 min | standard |
| Rocketeer | 7 min | serious threat |
| Turret | 8 min | defensive |
| ARC Surveyor | 12 min | boss level |
| Sentinel | never | one-off |
How the mechanic works
The sequence is always the same:
- An enemy dies and its timer starts.
- The timer runs out and the game runs a distance check.
- If a player is within roughly 50–150 meters, the spawn is blocked.
- If nobody is nearby, the enemy comes back.
In practice, you carry a no-spawn bubble around with you. Clear an area, stay there to loot and nothing returns. Walk away and the area fills up again behind you.
Why trios face more enemies than solo players
Every player creates their own bubble. Solo, you block spawns in one place and the map runs at about 15–25 active enemies. As a trio spread across the map, you block three different areas and the density jumps to 40–60 or more.
It sounds backwards until you think it through: whatever doesn’t spawn near one player spawns somewhere else. If your squad wants a quieter raid, stick together. If you’re after kills, split up across the map.
The practical impact on how you play is simple. Solo, you can afford to loot more slowly, because the area isn’t refilling enemies behind you. In a trio, expect the route to extraction to be busier than the route in, and plan it before you start collecting. The Bombardier and Spotter trap
This is the most useful thing on the whole page. As long as the Bombardier is alive, the Spotter comes back every minute instead of every six. If you kill the Spotter first, you end up in an endless loop of Spotters, each of which alerts the whole area to your position.
Always the Bombardier first, then the Spotter. That order costs you nothing and saves the entire fight.
Event maps shift the timers
| Event | Effect | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Night Raid, Electromagnetic Storm, Hidden Bunker | spawns 15% faster | Hornet 2 min 33 s, Rocketeer 5 min 57 s, ARC Surveyor 10 min 12 s |
| Locked Gate, Cold Snap | spawns 10% slower | Hornet 3 min 18 s, Rocketeer 7 min 42 s, ARC Surveyor 13 min 12 s |
Farming? Pick the faster maps. Going in quietly? Pick the slower ones.
Two routines worth knowing by heart
- Safe looting: clear the area, finish looting within the timer window and extract before the sixth or seventh minute, when Bastions and Bombardiers return.
- Farming loop: kill a valuable target (Surveyor or Rocketeer), move at least 150 meters away to lift the block, wait for the timer and come back.
Crossing a POI boundary often triggers a respawn too. It isn’t guaranteed, but it’s a reliable sign that the area behind you has filled up again.
FAQ
Hornet and Wasp, both at three minutes. Every other enemy gives you at least four minutes.
No. The Sentinel is a one-off and won’t come back for the rest of the raid once you kill it.
Every player carries a 50–150 meter bubble in which nothing spawns. Three players spread out block three areas, so the game fills the rest of the map and the overall density goes up.
As long as the Bombardier is alive, the Spotter comes back every minute. Kill the Bombardier and the Spotter drops back to the normal six minutes.
Yes. Kill it, move at least 150 meters away to lift the block, wait for the timer and come back. That’s the standard farming loop.
Information verified as of 7 September 2026 on the post-launch version of the game. These exact numbers are what balance patches shift most often, so treat the order as the lasting part: Hornet fastest, Surveyor slowest, Sentinel never.
