Timing-wise, AC1 Resynced looks like the next remake in the pipeline, and it could even be the next Assassin’s Creed release overall, with a 2027 window looking feasible. The complication is Assassin’s Creed Hexe, which is also still believed to be targeting 2027 – and getting both in the same year feels unlikely, if not strictly impossible. Worth noting: Ubisoft already teased Hexe’s Witch Hunt Germany setting inside Black Flag Resynced, which means that game’s teaser campaign is further along than this one.
There’s also the anniversary angle. Assassin’s Creed turns 20 in 2027, and it’s hard to imagine Ubisoft showing up to that date empty-handed.
