This section collects news around the upcoming remake of the first Assassin’s Creed. Ubisoft has updated its Steam Store page, with the latest change covering the banner image and the logo. The project is unofficially referred to as Assassin’s Creed Resynced and follows Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the first of the remakes Ubisoft confirmed in 2024. Work on the AC1 remake has been ongoing since at least April 2026, and a release could land around 2027, the same year Assassin’s Creed Hexe is expected and the franchise marks its 20th anniversary. A further Assassin’s Creed remake is also in development and will arrive after AC1, while Black Flag Resynced already teased the Hexe setting (Witch Hunt Germany).
