The Aniimo dev team has published a community round-up in which it addresses the questions and complaints that Pathfinders bring up most often. It isn’t a classic changelog with numbers, but rather a list of promises for version 1.1 – and several of them are a direct response to the things players have been angriest about. If you want to see what else is coming in that update, we’ve already covered Windchaser’s Departure in a separate article.
Sparkling Hue: rerolls stop burning your resources
The most common complaint was rerolling colors on Sparkling Prismana Aniimo – you keep getting the same hues over and over and your materials vanish in the process. In version 1.1, the Sparkling Hue reroll system is being reworked: once the update is live, you’ll be able to freely switch between any Sparkling Hue you’ve already unlocked for a given Aniimo.
A second, related request gets answered the same way. Plenty of Aniimo simply look better in their original colors, and players were afraid of losing that look after using a Sparkling Cube. After the 1.1 update, the switching list will include the original Prismana Hue as well, so you can always go back to the look you started with.
Irisalis gets fixed Innate Potential
Right now, the Legendary Irisalis rolls its Innate Potential randomly, which is why one player ends up with 88 Potential and another with 99. The devs admit this is a problem: you can only get this Legendary Aniimo once, so a random roll means the reward for a rare creature isn’t guaranteed.
After the version 1.1 update, the random roll disappears and Irisalis’s Innate Potential is locked to fixed values:
- ATK: 10
- REGEN: 10
- HP: 5
- BREAK: 5
- M.DEF: 5
- P.DEF: 5
If your Irisalis currently has Potential above these values, the surplus will be converted into Starcryst Essence as compensation. The exact conversion rules and amounts will be listed in the version update announcement and in in-game mail, so keep an eye on both. How to spend stat investment sensibly is the topic of our builds and skills guide.
Legendary Aniipods on Sparkling Aniimo
Another frequent question was whether an already-owned Sparkling Aniimo can be moved over to a Legendary Aniipod’s exclusive Sparkling effect. After the 1.1 update, yes: Legendary Aniipods can be used on Sparkling Aniimo. Doing so replaces the Aniipod the creature was originally caught with and grants that Legendary Aniipod’s exclusive Sparkling effect.
Mobile performance and support
Lag and overheating on phones came up a lot in feedback. A dedicated team is currently optimizing the game for popular devices with the goal of cutting down stutters and heat and improving the mobile experience as soon as possible – no specific date is given.
Support response times are also being worked on. The team mentions upgrading the support system, hiring more people and streamlining internal handoffs so tickets get answered faster. More complex cases still require checking account data and cooperation between several teams, so those can take longer.
How to fix a failed Steam or console account link
If linking your Steam or console account failed, the devs describe a concrete procedure. Log in to the Customer Support page, and under Quick Support Links click Account Issues. For both the second-level and third-level category, pick Steam Relink (PSN/Xbox) and submit a ticket containing:
- the platform ID you want to unlink (for example your Steam ID),
- the UID you’re currently using to contact Customer Support, plus the email address linked to it,
- the UID you want to unlink,
- the platform currently linked to that UID.
The team will review the request and process it as soon as possible.
Where to go next
The devs promise to keep collecting player experiences and to openly share bug fixes, improvements, mechanic changes and future plans. If you haven’t started your adventure in Idyll yet, the game has its own page on Steam, and we keep a running overview of every change in our Aniimo patch notes. Colors, Potential and evolution stages tie closely together, which is why we gave Aniimo evolution an article of its own.
FAQ
Yes. After the update you’ll be able to freely switch between any Sparkling Hue you’ve already unlocked for that Aniimo, without rerolling again.
You can. The switching list in version 1.1 includes the original Prismana Hue, so you can return to it at any time.
Fixed values: ATK 10, REGEN 10, HP 5, BREAK 5, M.DEF 5 and P.DEF 5. The random Innate Potential roll is being removed.
Any Potential above the new fixed values will be converted into Starcryst Essence as compensation. The exact rules and amounts will appear in the version announcement and in in-game mail.
The devs say a dedicated team is optimizing for popular devices right now, but they haven’t announced a specific date.
