Dying Light: The Beast is celebrating its first anniversary since launch and Techland has lined up several things for the occasion. Together with Super Rare Games it is releasing the game’s first physical PS5 version on disc, available in three editions – Standard, Super Rare Games and Anniversary Edition. All of them include the Definitive Edition with every post-launch update, while the Anniversary Edition adds a soundtrack, stickers, an artbook, a map, postcards, a poster and a patch. Pre-orders for the physical editions run from now until 16 October. In-game, the three-week Call of the Beast: Anniversary Edition event with community goals is starting, a Double XP Event runs from 18 to 21 September, and Daily Crane’s Anniversary Drops hand out rewards for logging in. The Discharge Weapon Pack is free on Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox from 17 to 24 September, the game itself is 50% off on all platforms until 26 September, and the complete Dying Light Franchise Bundle is discounted by up to 70%.
