This section collects news about the voice work in the upcoming Polda 5.5. In August it was announced that another Czech actor would voice Pankrác alongside Luděk Sobota, and the developers confirmed on their Facebook page that the role went to Pavel Liška, known from films, TV series and theatre productions. The first part of the voice recording is already finished and the creators speak positively about the collaboration – Liška does not try to imitate Luděk Sobota’s style but plays Pankrác his own way, as the goal was to cast an actor who brings his own distinctive energy to the character, not just a voice double. In Polda 5.5 players will be able to choose whether they hear Pankrác voiced by Luděk Sobota or Pavel Liška. For the upcoming eighth instalment it is not yet clear who will voice Pankrác; the developers would welcome Pavel Liška in the role should Luděk Sobota not feel up to the final part.
