The original 1996 logo was in use until 2011, and the following version ran from 2011 to 2026. The new design looks shinier and more modern while keeping the colour scheme of the previous logos. No new mainline Super Mario game has been announced for Switch 2 yet, though leaks point to a late 2027 release and speculation suggests an open-world title in the vein of Bowser’s Fury.
