The current version of PUBG is Update 43.2. On PC (Steam and Epic Games) it has been live since the maintenance on 14 October 2026, and it reaches PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on 22 October 2026. PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS gets a night event on Rondo, a Bentley collaboration, clearer quick messages for your team and new controller presets on console. Below you will find what the update brought, how long the new Survivor Pass is on sale, how maps rotate in Europe and where Ranked stands. Everything is accurate as of 20 October 2026.
When Update 43.2 arrives on PC and console
KRAFTON published the patch notes on 13 October 2026. PC and console are separate versions of the game, so they get updates on different days and play apart from each other. Server maintenance runs at these times:
| Platform | Maintenance (UTC) | Status on 20 October 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| PC (Steam, Epic Games) | 14 October 2026, 00:00–08:30 | Update 43.2 is live |
| PS5, Xbox Series X|S | 22 October 2026, 01:00–09:00 | Update 43.2 still to come |
Until Thursday 22 October, console players are still on the previous version. The full text is in the official 43.2 patch notes on pubg.com.
What Update 43.2 brings
In short, these are the changes:

- SLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo – an event on Rondo where the goal is to survive the night and switch on the generators.
- PUBG x Bentley – a collaboration with the car maker Bentley.
- Message Radial and markers – the quick team messages gain “Get in the vehicle!” and “Move!”, and item markers are visible up to 300 m.
- Vehicles – every map now has 6 Motor Gliders: 2 at fixed spots with fuel and 4 at random spots without fuel. Normal and Ranked matches on Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Vikendi, Deston and Rondo now have the same vehicle types and counts.
- Vehicle skins – 7 slots for special vehicle skins; on PC you pick them by holding
H. - Console controls – new PUBG Standard and Shooter Standard presets.
- Custom Match – improvements for hosts.
- Performance – general in-game performance optimisation, with no specific figures.
New controller presets on console
PS5 and Xbox get two presets with 43.2. PUBG Standard becomes the default for new players and plays like other console shooters. The second new preset is called Shooter Standard. Type A, B, C and Custom stay, so if your muscle memory is set, you don’t have to change anything.
Survivor Pass The Villains and Event Pass Dawnbreakers
This season’s Survivor Pass is called The Villains, and the Rondo event comes with the Dawnbreakers Event Pass. Sale dates differ between PC and console:
| Pass | PC | Console |
|---|---|---|
| Survivor Pass: The Villains | 14 October (after maintenance) to 11 November 2026, 00:00 UTC | 22 October to 19 November 2026 |
| Event Pass: Dawnbreakers | 14 October to 4 November 2026 | 22 October to 12 November 2026 |
The Survivor Pass is bought in game with G-COIN, the in-game currency, and it cannot be refunded. On the plus side, completing its missions also earns you free G-Coins. How the currency works and what it buys is covered in our guide to free-to-play PUBG. Sale dates and store content are listed in the official October Store Update.
Your Shop and the end of old crates
Your Shop, the discount store, reopens on PC and console on 28 October 2026 at 02:00 UTC and runs until 25 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC.
If you still have old crates in your inventory, keep December in mind. The December 2026 Update removes a number of older crates and keys, including Wanderer, Survivor, Biker, Desperado, Militia Crate and the Weapon Skin Key. Decide what to do with them before then.
Map rotation in Europe
Since August 2026 (PC from 12 August, console from 20 August), map selection in the EU uses three slots: Erangel is fixed, plus one rotating large map and one rotating small map. On PC the rotation changes every Wednesday at 02:00 UTC, on console every Thursday at 07:00 UTC. For normal matches during Update 43.2 the schedule looks like this:
| Maps | PC from | Console from |
|---|---|---|
| Erangel + Rondo + Sanhok | 14 October 2026 | 22 October 2026 |
| Erangel + Taego + Karakin | 21 October 2026 | 29 October 2026 |
| Erangel + Miramar + Paramo | 28 October 2026 | 5 November 2026 |

Ranked Season 43
Ranked runs in Season 43. It started with Update 43.1 (PC maintenance on 10 September 2026, console on 17 September 2026), when the leaderboard was reset. KRAFTON has not announced when the season ends. During 43.2, Ranked uses four maps with equal odds: Erangel, Miramar, Taego and Rondo at 25 % each. Requirements, tiers and rewards are in our PUBG Ranked guide.
