Rocket League Season 24 has been running since 23 September 2026. Psyonix kicked it off at 9:00 Pacific Time, which was 18:00 CEST. The end date of the season has not been announced yet, but the longest event of the season, Run it Up, runs until 9 December 2026. The season brought Honor Duels, a Black Market item trade-in, new mouse and keyboard controls, three new cars in the Rocket Pass and titles for the top 100 players. Here is where things stand as of 20 October 2026.
When Season 24 started and how long it runs
Season 24 started on 23 September 2026, as Psyonix said in its season announcement, and followed Season 23, which ran from 10 June 2026 under the banner of the FIFA World Cup 26. As of 20 October 2026, Psyonix has not said when Season 24 ends or when the next one begins. The only fixed date is the end of the Run it Up event on 9 December 2026.
What’s new in Season 24

| MVP Goal Explosion | The match MVP shows off their Goal Explosion, the effect after scoring, on the podium. |

Honor Duels
An Honor Duel is a duel of honour. When a match ends, you can challenge one of the players to a 1v1, and the others can watch it. In Season 24, Honor Duels also feed into the Rocket Rivalry event, see below.
Black Market Trade-In
Black Market is one of the categories of cosmetic items. The new Trade-In lets you hand in three duplicate Black Market items and get one new item back. Handy when the same pieces keep piling up in your inventory.
New mouse and keyboard controls
In Season 24, Psyonix modernised the mouse and keyboard controls, according to the patch notes. They are built around the Free Look camera, which lets you look freely around your car, plus an optional dot in the centre of the screen. The new controls are the default for new players on mouse and keyboard, and Free Look can be turned on for controllers too. More on getting started is in our beginner’s guide.
Events in Season 24
An LTE (Limited Time Event) is a time-limited event with its own challenges and rewards. Season 24 has had three so far:
- Run it Up: runs from 23 September to 9 December 2026, with 14 challenges and rewards from the Nova Collection.
- Bullet Ball: ran from 23 September to 6 October 2026 and has ended.
- Persona 5: ran from 25 September to 12 October 2026 and has ended.
If you want everything from Run it Up, you have until 9 December 2026 to finish the 14 challenges.
Rocket Pass in Season 24
The Rocket Pass is a seasonal reward track with a free part and a paid part called Rocket Pass Premium. Psyonix does not state the Premium price in the sources we use, so we leave it out. Since Season 20, all Challenges are available without Premium.
The Season 24 Rocket Pass has three new cars. For each, Psyonix states the hitbox, the invisible shape the game uses for contact with the ball:
| Car | Hitbox |
|---|---|
| Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 50 | Octane |
| Dominus GT 76 | Dominus |
| Pareto 5S | Breakout |
Wheels, boosts and decals come with the cars. The Czech Microsoft Store also offers a Season 24 Rookie Pack, but we did not load its price. What Credits cost and what you pay for in Rocket League at all is covered in our platforms guide.
Ranked and Top 100 titles
Like every season, Season 24 started with a soft rank reset in all Competitive playlists. New this season are titles for the top 100 players on the global Soccar leaderboards for 3v3, 2v2 and 1v1. In 3v3, places 100 to 51 get the title “S24 3V3 TOP 100”, places 50 to 26 get “S24 3V3 TOP 50”, and the titles narrow all the way down to first place. How ranks, placements and season rewards work is explained in our ranked guide.

Rocket Rivalry
The season also includes Rocket Rivalry. Eight content creators compete in it, collect points through Honor Duels, and it all leads up to a showmatch in London.
