A few weeks ago they were still adding up points in the Last Chance Qualifier and counting whether it would be enough. Now F1shyX and Huty are in Antwerp, playing against names the whole world knows. The ticket was not cheap: in their last shot at qualification they collected 255 points, grabbed one Victory Royale and finished fifth, which pushed them into the field of 50 duos fighting for the world title.
Why this run matters more than a regular qualification
For the Czech scene this is not just another successful qualifier. Czechia has a complete home-grown duo at the world championship for the very first time. Czech players have reached big international tournaments before, but F1shyX and Huty are the first “Made in Czechia” pairing to fight their way to the most important event of the year together. The qualification alone is a line in the history book of Czech Fortnite. Day one: 106 points and 28th place
The first competition day is behind them and the duo sits in 28th place with 106 points. Two games ended without a single point on the board, their best finish of the day was twelfth, and across the whole day they put together 13 eliminations. In a field where every elimination and every endgame moves the standings, that leaves them within reach of a better final position – but also with no room for sloppy games.
The championship is being played in Antwerp’s Lotto Arena, and the closing six matches of the second day start at 17:00. Twelve matches, fifty of the world’s best duos and practically no margin for error: every zone, every elimination and every final circle decides both the placement and the size of the check.
The Czech community traveled with them
How big a moment this is for the local scene is clear from the number of familiar faces around the duo. Creator Alkan flew to Antwerp specifically to back F1shyX and Huty in person during their historic start among the best players on the planet, and he brought another piece of the Czech Fortnite community to Belgium with him.

The duo is accompanied by the petrskutik stream, a Czech YouTube broadcast is being handled by creator Pajus4, and on Kick the action is being called by Skailer, a Fortnite World Cup finalist.
