The Fortnite World Championship is in full swing and one of the biggest talking points of the weekend has nothing to do with a Victory Royale. Czech representative Huty ended up in the spotlight during Saturday’s program – and now it will cost him a game on the decisive day.
What actually happened
During the third game of the day, the official broadcast camera cut to Huty. Instead of the usual focused stare, he raised his middle finger straight into the lens. The clip spread across social media within minutes and quickly made its way into international coverage as well.
Tournament rules are clear on this kind of thing: players are expected to show respect and are banned from disrespectful or offensive behavior. A penalty was therefore on the table from the moment the clip went viral.
From “probably just a warning” to a one-game ban
For a while it looked like nothing would come of it. Huty himself said in a social media interview that he was grateful the situation would most likely end with nothing more than a talking-to. That turned out not to be the case – in the end he has been handed a one-game suspension.
The timing could hardly be worse. The Czech duo entered the final day from 28th place, as we covered in our recap of day one in Antwerp, and every single point matters when you are chasing a climb up the leaderboard.

The practical impact is simple and painful: F1shyX has to play the first game of the day solo. No teammate to trade heals with, no second set of hands for rotations or endgame fights – just one player trying to bank as many points as possible on his own.
