Ranked in The Finals means Ranked Cashout: you start with four placement rounds and then climb or drop through the Bronze to Diamond leagues based on your Rank Score (RS). At the very top sits Ruby, reserved for the best 500 players. Here you will find a league table with RS values, how rewards and Reward Coins work, who can party up with whom, what happens when you disconnect and how World Tour differs from ranked. Everything reflects Season 12 as of 20 October 2026.
What Ranked Cashout is
Ranked Cashout is the competitive mode of The Finals. It follows the same rules as regular Cashout (open a vault, take the Cashbox to a Cashout Station and defend it), but with a limited number of spawn tokens, meaning a limited number of respawns. If you do not know Cashout yet, start with our beginner’s guide.

First you play 4 placement rounds. After that you move up based on Rank Score (RS), points for your performance in matches. You can lose RS too, so a losing streak can drop you into a lower league.
Leagues and Rank Score
According to Embark support, there are six leagues. Bronze to Diamond each have four tiers of 2,500 RS, and you progress from Tier 4 to Tier 1. Ruby is a special league with no RS threshold: only the top 500 players are in it.
| League | Rank Score | Tiers |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0–9,999 RS | 4 tiers of 2,500 RS |
| Silver | 10,000–19,999 RS | 4 tiers of 2,500 RS |
| Gold | 20,000–29,999 RS | 4 tiers of 2,500 RS |
| Platinum | 30,000–39,999 RS | 4 tiers of 2,500 RS |
| Diamond | 40,000 RS and above | 4 tiers of 2,500 RS |
| Ruby | top 500 players | no tiers |
Season 11 introduced personal RS performance bonuses, which are larger in lower tiers, and an RS breakdown at the end of each match. That way you can see what earned or cost you points.
Rewards and Reward Coins
Rewards for Bronze to Diamond are yours even if you drop out of that league later. You only need to reach it once during the season, and each higher league also gives you the rewards of all lower ones. Ruby is the exception: you only get its rewards if you finish the season in the top 500.
| League | Reward types |
|---|---|
| Bronze, Silver | seasonal background and badge |
| Gold, Platinum | seasonal background, badge and a Reward Coin |
| Diamond | seasonal background, badge, emblem and a Reward Coin |
| Ruby | a Reward Coin and further seasonal cosmetics |
Reward Coins for Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Ruby are exchanged for cosmetics at the start of the next season. Season 11 added a second Diamond token, one for Diamond 4 and one for Diamond 1. Rewards are based on the highest rank you reached during the season.
Playing in a party
In a party, matchmaking is based on the highest-ranked player. So if you queue ranked with a much better friend, you face opponents at their level. On top of that, Diamond and Ruby players cannot join a ranked party with players in Silver or below. The game then cancels the search with the message “Matchmaking cancelled by…”.
Embark bans players for boosting and for sharing or selling accounts. A ban applies across all platforms.
New season, inactivity and disconnects
- Start of a season: RS is recalculated at the start of each new season.
- Inactivity: your RS does not decay when you do not play.
- Disconnects: leaving a ranked match (including a crash, Alt+F4 or going AFK) results in a matchmaking suspension and a possible RS deduction. You will not be banned for it. Support will not lift the suspension, but you can rejoin a match in progress with the Reconnect button.
- Server outages: since Season 12, RS lost because of a server outage is returned automatically and you get a message within 24 hours.
If the game keeps kicking you out, go through Embark’s official steps in our article on errors and crashes.
World Tour is not ranked
World Tour is a separate seasonal progression system. It has 6 ranks with 4 tiers each, and you progress by playing Ranked Cashout, Cashout or Quickplay. Since Season 11 you get a league’s reward as soon as you reach it.
Season 12 changed World Tour: your rank no longer moves with World Tour points but by collecting Fans. You earn Fans for positive actions in matches, Signature Plays and seasonal events. Everything else the season brought is in our Season 12 overview.
Watch out for older guides: the mode that used to be called World Tour has been named Cashout since Season 9. Today’s World Tour is purely a progression system.
Esports: The Grand Major 2026
You can also follow the pro scene. The Grand Major 2026 (TGM26) ends with a final at DreamHack Stockholm in late November 2026. Qualifiers for the TGM26 Online Series run on FACEIT in the AMERICAS, EMEA and APAC regions. The 2025 champion is NTMR. Details are on the official TGM page.
