Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný is the best-known Czech Counter-Strike player of the last ten years. As the AWPer of mousesports he made HLTV’s ranking of the world’s top twenty players in 2017 and 2018, the first Czech ever to do so. He ended his playing career in April 2026. This page sums up his teams, biggest achievements and what he is doing today. News from the Czech scene is in the Esports section.

HellRaisers and mousesports
His first international team was HellRaisers in October 2015. The following year mousesports bought out his contract, and he debuted with them in ESL Pro League Season 4 and spent almost three years there. That was his best period: in HLTV’s Top 20 players of the year he finished sixteenth for 2017 and fourteenth for 2018. HLTV named him MVP of ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 and of the V4 Future Sports Festival in Budapest in 2018. He left mousesports in March 2019, then briefly returned to HellRaisers and played for Sprout in spring 2020.
Two stints at SINNERS
In December 2020 he joined SINNERS Esports, the strongest Czech team. In January 2022 he was replaced there by forsyy, oskar tried the GORILLAZ project, and in November 2022 he returned to SINNERS, this time taking forsyy’s place. His second stint at the club lasted over two years, until SINNERS sold him in January 2025.
The last years
In January 2025 he built a new team, Inner Circle, together with STYKO, and played there until June. That was followed by a short spell at ALGO Esports in summer 2025 and at Fingers Crossed at the start of 2026. On 20 April 2026 he announced the end of his playing career. In the same announcement he wrote that he wants to stay in the game as a coach and is looking for a head coach, assistant coach or analyst position.
What he does today
After ending his career, oskar wants to stay in Counter-Strike as a coach, but as of October 2026 he has no publicly confirmed role, so I don’t list one here. The fastest way to find out about his next step is X (CSGOoskar), where he also announced the end of his playing career. Once a new position is official, I will add it here.
Where to follow oskar
His main channel is X under the name CSGOoskar, where he announces all his important moves.
Get involved
Oskar no longer competes as a player, but the Czech scene he grew up in has its doors open in October 2026. Anyone with a five-player team can sign up for the Tipsport MČR CS open qualifiers, the qualifiers for the Czech Championship, from 10 to 31 October, and the best four play the main stage, with the final on 22 November in Brno. For up-and-coming rosters there is the Vodafone Talent League. And where the road oskar walked as the first Czech leads is shown on the CS2 Major page.
