AION 2 (global): November 1 Maintenance Takes Servers Down for 2.5 Hours to Switch From PDT to PST

NCSOFT has announced another short downtime for the global servers of AION 2 on Steam. This one is not about new content – it is a technical maintenance tied to the end of daylight saving time in the Pacific time zone, which is the reference clock the game uses for its schedules.

When the servers go down

• Date and time: November 1, 2026 at 01:30 PDT / November 1, 2026 at 09:30 CET
• Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
• Affected services: game servers

During the maintenance, game login is temporarily unavailable. Plan your evening or morning session around it, because once the window opens you will not get back in until it closes.

What is actually changing

The patch notes list a single main item:

• Adjustments for the following time zone change: Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) to Pacific Standard Time (PST).

In practice that means every in-game timer anchored to the Pacific clock – dailies, weeklies, events and reset windows – gets realigned to the new offset. If you have been tracking resets in your own local time, expect them to shift by an hour relative to what you were used to.

Additional notices

• Once maintenance begins, you will be disconnected from the game.
• The maintenance schedule and details are subject to change at any time. Any changes will be announced as an update via this notice.

NCSOFT also confirmed that the preceding maintenance has already been completed and the servers are back online, so the only downtime left on the calendar is the one above.

Where to go next

If you want to know what landed on the global servers before this downtime, we covered the October 28 patch in detail, including the HP changes and the new hard dungeons. The return of Ludra on November 4 got its own article too, and everything else we have written about the game is collected under AION 2 news.
