Got around 150,000 Combat Power in AION 2, item level 2.6K, Conquest cleared and Hard Krao Cave behind you? Then you’re at the point where the game starts going in circles. You keep running the same dungeons and it isn’t clear where to go next. This guide sums up what to focus on in the global version’s endgame so your progress doesn’t stall: what still raises Combat Power, why now is the time to farm pets, how to craft your final gear and how much Kinah a week you make from Odyle with and without membership.
Daniel walks through the whole process in the video, in game, on his Cleric with more than 300 hours played and roughly 150k CP. The video is in Czech; this guide gives you everything from it in English.
Key points
- Max out passive Combat Power first: Nightmare, Stigma Shards, Daevanion crystals, Radiants, wings and Arcana skills to 20.
- Abyss Points can be farmed without PvP: Artifacts three times a week, Supply Request, season goals, Duties and the Command Shop.
- Pets are now your biggest source of extra CP. Genus Insight Analysis doesn’t raise item level, but it raises Combat Power a lot.
- Final gear is crafted. Craft one piece all the way to the end before you start the next.
- Theostones only go into an item you won’t transfer any more.
- Odyle: about 1,640 a week without membership, 2,440 with it. By Daniel’s calculation that’s 16.4 or 24.4 million Kinah a week.
Who this guide is for
For players who play regularly and have done what the game offers after launch: Conquests cleared (Fire Temple, Ferocious Horn Den), Nightmare, Stigma Shards and Daevanion bought out and now also the Hard version of Krao Cave with Ariel fragments. It doesn’t matter whether you have alts or membership. Without them you’ll just move slower, but the goals are the same.
What’s next: on November 4, 2026, after maintenance, the Sanctuary with the Ludra raid returns for ten players, in both Normal and Hard from day one. According to NCSOFT’s announcement you need item level 2,800 for Normal and 3,000 for Hard, so with 2.6K gear you’re not there yet, and the crafted gear from this guide is exactly how you get there. Based on Daniel’s information from the Taiwanese version, it drops Kinah, crafting materials and above all bracelets. More Conquests and new Transcendence stages are supposed to follow later. The events around the return are covered in our article on Ludra events and rewards.
Passive Combat Power checklist
Before you start on new content, check that you’ve finished every passive source of Combat Power. Each one matters:
- Nightmare – rewards for Nightmare points bought out.
- Shugo Festival – Stigma Shards and Daevanion crystals for tokens every week. Guides: stigmas and Daevanion.
- Radiants – from the Arena, or from the market.
- Wings – collect fragments, wings add Combat Power and stats for both PvE and PvP.
- Artwork – at least one unique one is worth having.
- Arcana – you level skills to 20. With five cards at max, barely any more CP comes from it. More in the Arcana guide.

Skins from the shop give no stats at all, they’re pure cosmetics. Bought skins aren’t pay to win.
Abyss Points without farming PvP
Daniel doesn’t farm Abyss Points in PvP. He goes to Artifacts three times a week, the war over three corridors: if your faction wins, you get in and farm there. The rest comes from PvE:
- Abyss Supply Request,
- season goals in Season Mission,
- Duties (five a day, each worth 1,000 Abyss Points),
- scrolls from the Command Merchant.
Spend Abyss Points on Stigma Shards, Daevanion crystals (when you’re short on item level) and wings. How the PvP zone works is explained in the Abyss guide.
Pets and Genus Insight: the biggest source of extra CP
Once your passive CP is done, it’s time to actively farm pets. You want every pet genus (in the Pets window, Cogni is first, with four more groups below it) as a set of three, because each genus adds a different stat. Daniel recommends going in the order the genera appear in the column.

The main reason is Genus Insight. For every pet you collect EXP towards the Insight of its genus:
| Genus Insight EXP source | EXP |
|---|---|
| Obtain a pet | 500 |
| Pet Insight Lv. 2 | 250 |
| Pet Insight Lv. 3 | 250 |
| Genus Insight Analysis (per slot) | 100 |
So obtaining pets gives the most. They drop from monsters of that genus (every kill also adds progress towards the pet) and from side sources. The main one is the Ascension Trial: three attempts a week per character, and the rewards include chests with pets. With alts the rewards multiply; Daniel runs it on four characters.

What to roll in Genus Insight Analysis
In Analysis you roll properties into slots. A Heroic property has a 5% chance, Unique 15%, Epic and Rare 30% each and Common 20%. Roll for everything that gives damage:

| Heroic property (slot 1, Cogni) | Value |
|---|---|
| Attack Bonus | 8–16 |
| Max Attack | 10–20 |
| Penetration | 100–200 |
| Critical Attack | 10–20 |
| Front Attack / Back Attack | 10–20 |
| PvE Attack | 10–20 |
In Auto Analysis set what you want (for example slot 1 attack, slot 3 Accuracy). The more slots you lock, the more expensive the next roll. Genus Insight won’t raise your item level, but it raises Combat Power, and by a lot. And that goes for every class.

Gear: from Conquest to crafted equipment
The basics are clear: run the Conquests Fire Temple and Ferocious Horn Den every week for the items that drop there. Your real endgame gear, though, is crafted. The goal is the Splendent Dragon Lord line, for example the Splendent White Dragon Lord Mace, or the Splendent True Dragon Lord shield, gloves or armor. They have the most Soul Binding slots and you can add Philosopher’s Stones, enchant and potential to them.
You won’t lose this gear and nothing will replace it quickly. New content raises the crafting level and rarity (for example Heroic), but a crafted piece stays your base. The path from raw materials is in the crafting guide.

Craft one piece at a time
Daniel recommends always taking one item all the way to the end in blacksmithing before starting the next. Weapon first, then shield, then a ring, necklace or earrings. Some content creators advise crafting everything at a lower level at once and then upgrading, but that works if you put money into the game and buy out the market. For a player who farms materials and Kinah alone, going piece by piece is the most efficient. Daniel hasn’t spent a single cent on the game and is still competitive, even in PvP.
What to put into an item and what not
- Manastones – yes, you want their stats right away.
- Enchant – yes, to a higher level, it adds Damage Boost among other things.
- Philosopher’s Stone – yes, but only into the final piece.
- Theostones – only on an item you won’t transfer to a higher level, otherwise you lose them.
- Potential via Abyss Points – gives mainly PvP stats. If you mostly play PvE, you don’t need it.
More on stones in the article on manastones, soulstones and theostones, and on upgrading in enchanting.
Odyle and Kinah: how much you make a week
The game’s main limit is Odyle Energy. Base energy recharges by 120 a day and caps at 840, exactly one week. If you log in at least once a day, you have 840 Odyle a week. On top of that you make more Odyle Energy in Substance Morph (16 per server and 4 per character a week, 40 each), so another 800. With membership you can also buy Odyle Energy in Shop → Wind Breeze Merchants: 20 per character a week for 100,000 Kinah, another 800.
| Odyle per week | Kinah per week (calculation from the video) | |
|---|---|---|
| Without membership | 840 + 800 = 1,640 | about 16.4 million |
| With membership | 1,640 + 800 = 2,440 | about 24.4 million |
The calculation assumes Fire Temple, where all the bosses together drop 400,000 Kinah. It doesn’t include Odyle from mail, the battle pass or events; it’s pure play. Spend it mainly in Expedition, because Transcendence mostly gives Arcana. Watch the weekly run limit in Conquest, after which the Kinah from the Odyle Energy Cube drops (see the Kinah and economy guide).

Is membership worth it?
Daniel’s view is clear: membership, which costs him roughly CZK 300 a month, is the cheapest way to speed up progress in AION 2, because Odyle can’t be bought any other way. If you take the game seriously and don’t want to be stuck, run into gatekeeping in Conquest and wait for hours in the lobby, it pays off.
Gatekeeping: join an active legion
With lower CP you often won’t get into Conquests with random players, or you’ll get kicked halfway through the dungeon. The simplest fix is an active legion. On our Discord you’ll find other players to team up with. Toxic people without any self-reflection aren’t welcome in legions, though.
And if you want to wear AION 2 outside the game too, check out the AION 2 merch in the GamersTogether shop – for example with the NYERK! lettering you know from the Shugo.
FAQ
Max out passive Combat Power (Nightmare, Stigma, Daevanion, Radiants, wings, Arcana), farm pets for Genus Insight and craft the final Splendent Dragon Lord gear one piece at a time. From November 4, 2026 the Ludra raid also returns (Normal from item level 2,800, Hard from 3,000).
Through pets and Genus Insight. Every new pet gives 500 EXP to the Insight of its genus, and in Analysis you roll properties like Attack Bonus, Max Attack or Critical Attack. It won’t raise item level, but it raises Combat Power.
Not if you don’t pay. It’s most efficient to take one item all the way to the end and only then start the next, weapon first, then shield and jewelry.
Only into the final item you won’t transfer to a higher level any more. Manastones and enchant can be done right away.
About 1,640: 840 from base recharge (120 a day) and 800 from Substance Morph. With membership you can buy another 800 in the Shop, 2,440 in total.
If you play regularly, yes. Odyle is the main limit on progress and can’t be bought any other way. With membership you get 800 more Odyle a week, which by the calculation in the video is about 8 million more Kinah.
Where to next
This guide continues in crafting, with the path from raw materials to Splendent gear, and Krao Cave including the Hard version. All guides are in the AION 2 guide hub.
The values described come from Daniel’s video of October 26, 2026 and from what’s visible in the interface of the global version of AION 2 on the Siel server; all images are stills from that video. The Kinah calculations are Daniel’s and assume his routine. The date and requirements of the Ludra raid come from NCSOFT’s official announcement. Information checked as of November 3, 2026.
