Pearl Abyss has pushed another small but welcome hotfix for Crimson Desert on Steam and the other platforms. Version 2.03.02 doesn’t add anything new – it’s purely about unsticking players who ran into three progression-breaking problems.
Patch availability by platform
The rollout isn’t identical everywhere. Here’s where the patch stands:
- Steam (Mac): patch available now
- PlayStation: patch available now
- XBOX: patch available now
- Epic Games Store: patch available now
- Mac App Store: patch available at a later time (in progress)
So if you play through the Mac App Store, you’ll need to wait a bit longer – the release there is still being worked on.
What 2.03.02 fixes
- Fixed an issue where Grimnir would not appear in certain situations while progressing through the quest “The Mysterious Pot.”
- Fixed an issue where icons for newly discovered objects in certain regions would not appear on the map.
- Fixed an issue where progression in the “Ether Rest” Abyss was blocked because the power core would not be detected.
What it means for you
All three fixes target the same kind of pain: being unable to move forward. If “The Mysterious Pot” stalled on you because Grimnir simply wasn’t where he was supposed to be, that quest should run properly again after the update. The same goes for the “Ether Rest” Abyss, where an undetected power core could leave you standing in front of a hard wall.
The map fix is smaller in scope but noticeable while exploring – newly discovered objects in certain regions should now actually show up as icons, so you no longer have to keep track of them yourself. If you’re still mapping out the world, our overview of the regions of Pywel is a handy companion.
