This section follows the community project KCD Multiplayer, a mod that brings multiplayer to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, a game that officially offers no multiplayer mode. The mod adds horse races, sieges, PvP duels and shared exploration of the world, and it also works as a platform for creating custom game modes and hosting your own servers, in a way similar to SA:MP and FiveM in the GTA series. Each server runs a single game mode, or script, which defines player spawns, chat, commands, whether players can be damaged and what the game world contains; modes can be written in Lua 5.4 or as a C# plugin. The creators describe the details of launching the modification on their own site. You will also find community reactions, which are mostly enthusiastic and praise the new endgame content, although some players would prefer official multiplayer from the developers.
