The four decks – Ruinous Powers, Tyranid Swarm, Necron Dynasty and Forces of the Imperium – first launched in 2022 as part of the Universes Beyond line and quickly became hard to find, with secondary market prices reaching hundreds of dollars. The reprint is set to reach distributors and stores soon, though availability may vary by region, and it has not been confirmed whether the foil Collector’s Edition will return; the reprint price is also unknown, while the original retail price was $59.99 per deck. You will also find that head designer Mark Rosewater previously said there are no plans for in-universe versions of these cards although the option exists, that Warhammer 40K is riding high thanks to the upcoming Dawn of War IV and Total War: Warhammer 40K plus a film universe with Henry Cavill, and that Magic: The Gathering plans six new sets in 2027.
