RuneScape: Dragonwilds reached version 1.0 on September 15, 2026, making its console debut and joining both Xbox Game Pass and the PlayStation Plus game catalog. After a PC-only early-access period that began in April 2025, Jagex’s open-world survival crafting RPG is now available through subscriptions on both platforms.
If you want to explore with friends, you can play alone or in a group of up to four, with cross-play supported across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
Which subscription do you need for Dragonwilds?
On PlayStation, RuneScape: Dragonwilds is listed for PS5 in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog. Its September 15 arrival coincides with the full release rather than another early-access launch.
On Xbox Game Pass, the game is available through Ultimate, Premium and PC subscriptions, with cloud, PC and Xbox Series X/S listed as supported ways to play. It is the service’s sixth September addition and its 140th title added since the start of 2026.

Survival and magic in the RuneScape universe
Dragonwilds shares its universe with the MMORPG RuneScape, but this adventure centers on survival in Ashenfall. Dragons have awakened on the forgotten continent, where you gather resources, build bases, craft equipment, develop skills, complete quests and learn magic.
The handcrafted world contains ancient secrets to investigate, with new abilities and spells helping you explore as you prepare to confront the Dragon Queen. You can take on that progression by yourself or share the adventure with up to three other players.

September’s PS Plus catalog rolls out in stages
Dragonwilds is one of eight games being added for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers in September. Premium subscribers also get Mega Man X: Command Mission and Metro Redux, bringing the total to ten additions.
September 15 is the main arrival date, but not every game shares it. The announcement names the US, UK and Japan for its scheduling exceptions; those dates should not be taken as confirmation for other countries.

Arriving September 15, WWE 2K26 features more than 400 playable WWE Superstars and Legends, including John Cena, Rhea Ripley, The Rock and Triple H. Showcase follows CM Punk’s career and rivalries, with alternate-history scenarios that include a timeline in which he never left WWE.
Date Everything! – PS5
After AI takes your job, a mysterious sender gives you magical Dateviators glasses. Wearing them brings household objects to life as characters with their own stories. Your interactions determine whether those relationships become friendships, romances or rivalries.
Ball x Pit – PS5
Scheduled for September 22 in the named regions, this fast-paced fantasy roguelite sends you into the monster-filled pit left behind by Ballbylon’s destruction. You fight using magical projectiles, upgrade your ammunition and recruit heroes while collecting resources to rebuild New Ballbylon.
Slitterhead – PS4 and PS5
Also scheduled for September 22, Slitterhead casts you as Hyoki, a being without a body or memories. You hunt creatures disguised as humans through Kowlong, seek allies known as Rarities, infiltrate dangerous organizations and use blood-based powers in combat.
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound – PS4 and PS5
Developed by the team behind Blasphemous, Ragebound combines the classic Ninja Gaiden approach with depth and intensity drawn from the modern 3D games. Ryu Hayabusa is away in America when the boundary between humans and demons begins to break down, leaving young ninja Kenji Mozu to defend Hayabusa Village. Its listed regional arrival is September 29.
Dungeons of Hinterberg – PS4 and PS5
Luisa trades corporate life for the Austrian Alps, where mysterious dungeons are becoming active again. You spend your days exploring, using magic and solving puzzles, then build friendships with residents and fellow adventurers in the evenings. Mountain hikes and glacier snowboarding round out the trip. It joins on September 29 in the specified regions.
Sniper Elite: Resistance – PS4 and PS5
SOE agent Harry Hawker joins the French Resistance in occupied France to stop a new Wunderwaffe that could secure a Nazi victory. The story runs alongside Sniper Elite 5, and you can play the entire campaign cooperatively. Multiple Kill List targets and different entry and extraction points give you choices in how to tackle missions. Its scheduled regional release is September 29.
The two Premium additions
Mega Man X: Command Mission – PS4 and PS5
This futuristic RPG has you defend Giga City against the Liberion Army. Zero, Axl and new characters join Mega Man X, with combined team attacks included in combat. The announcement lists more than 50 missions, alongside side quests and boss encounters.
Metro Redux – PS4
Metro Redux bundles the remake of Metro 2033 with the remaster of Metro: Last Light. Playing as Artyom, you travel through a post-apocalyptic world where metro settlements face both mutants and conflict with one another. The journey starts in 2033 with a mission to warn humanity’s survivors of an approaching threat, taking you through abandoned catacombs and onto the contaminated surface.
