Available September 15: RuneScape: Dragonwilds
RuneScape: Dragonwilds arrives on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass listed. This cooperative survival adventure takes you to Ashenfall, RuneScape’s forgotten continent, where dragons have awakened. You’ll gather resources, build, develop skills and craft as you uncover ancient secrets and prepare to face the Dragon Queen.

September 17: Kernel Hearts
Kernel Hearts joins on day one with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, supporting Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It combines action RPG combat with roguelike elements and optional multiplayer co-op. You can choose from four magical members with different abilities and playstyles as you climb the Tower of Babel.
September 22: Dune: Awakening and Well Dweller
- Dune: Awakening – Listed for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass, with Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld and PC support. This single-player and multiplayer open-world survival game combines exploration, building and crafting with RPG gameplay and a cinematic Dune story.

September 23: Mad King Redemption
Mad King Redemption is listed for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld and PC. It blends traditional beat ’em up action with roguelite progression and pixel art in a 2.5D world. Your goal is to free the Mad King from his insanity while fighting corrupted enemies across changing runs.
September 29: Minecraft Dungeons II
Minecraft Dungeons II arrives on day one with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, supporting Cloud, Console, Handheld and PC. You’ll team up to explore the Sift, face unfamiliar threats and discover new ways to customize your gear as you venture beyond the rifts.
October 6: Gears of War: E-Day
Gears of War: E-Day is another day-one addition, listed for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, PC and Cloud. Its origin-story campaign takes place 14 years before the original Gears of War. You join Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago as the Locust Horde emerges and the fight for survival begins.
Seven games expand to Game Pass Premium
The announcement also names seven upcoming games as “Now with Game Pass Premium,” alongside Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. All seven list Cloud support, so these dates are worth checking if you’re following the Premium catalog.

Moonlighter 2 is already available; Rematch joins Essential
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is highlighted as a September 2 addition, now available on Xbox Series X|S and Cloud Gaming in its 1.0 full release. It is listed for Game Pass Premium alongside Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with Handheld support also named. You alternate between exploring dangerous dimensions and selling the loot you bring back to your shop.
On September 25, Rematch expands to Game Pass Essential, alongside its listings for Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. It supports Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. This third-person soccer game puts you in control of one athlete in 5v5 online matches, with no offsides or fouls.
Trials, events and member benefits
- EA Sports FC 27 – An EA Play Early Access Trial is scheduled for September 18 on Console and PC. The announcement highlights The Grounds and community-driven gameplay changes, but does not list Cloud for this trial.
- Sea of Thieves – Season 21 arrives September 17. A Free Play Weekend runs September 17–21 with no subscription required. The Parley Event lets you use a new parley pennant to chat with other crews and earn special sails, alongside a new Seasonal track and events including Bilge Rat Weekenders and Fight Nights.
- Brawlhalla – A benefits pack arrives September 17 for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, Essential and PC Game Pass, with Cloud, Console and PC listed. It includes the Kill Thrill Hattori Skin, Hattori Legend Unlock and Regal Sun Sword Weapon Skin.
