As of 19 October 2026, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 costs €79.99 on Steam, and Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers get it as part of their subscription. Below you’ll find what the standard and Vault editions include, how COD Points and the Battle Pass work, how crossplay and progression carry across platforms, and why some players can’t buy the game at all.
How much Black Ops 7 costs
The game launched on 14 November 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and on PC via Steam, Battle.net and Xbox on PC (Microsoft Store). Steam and the Microsoft Store show 21 November 2025 in their metadata, but that’s just a store field. Base prices without discounts:
| Store | Edition | Price on 19 October 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Steam (EUR) | Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 | €79.99 |
| PlayStation Store | Cross-Gen Bundle (PS5 + PS4) | 1,999 CZK in the Czech store |
| Microsoft Store | Cross-Gen Bundle (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC) | 1,999 CZK in the Czech store, free with Game Pass |
Prices change with sales, so always check the Steam page, the PlayStation Store or the Microsoft Store before you buy.
Cross-Gen Bundle and the PC edition
The digital Cross-Gen edition on consoles gives you both generations of the same family: Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, or PS5 and PS4. On PC the Standard Edition is digital only, on Steam, Battle.net and Xbox on PC.
Watch out for three things with physical copies. They don’t work on Xbox Series S or the PS5 Digital Edition. The physical PS5 edition doesn’t include cross-gen. And the physical PS4 Cross-Gen Bundle contains a code for the PS5 version.
Split-screen for two players on one screen only works on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, not on Xbox One or PS4. On PS5 you also need PS Plus to play online. On PC, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are mandatory, which we cover in detail in our PC requirements guide.
What the Vault Edition includes
The Vault Edition is digital only. On top of the base game it adds:
- Operator Collection: Karma, Harper, T.E.D.D. and Reaper EWR-3,
- Mastercraft Weapon Collection with five weapons,
- Guild Override camo,
- Reznov Challenge Pack (for Black Ops 6 and Warzone),
- one season of BlackCell,
- Ultra GobbleGum Pack (8 GobbleGums for Zombies),
- Permanent Unlock Token.
Activision’s suggested US price is $99.99. We couldn’t find a Vault Edition price in the Czech stores we checked on 19 October 2026, so we don’t quote a euro or koruna price. You can also buy Vault as an upgrade to the Cross-Gen Bundle, and Game Pass subscribers can buy the upgrade too. What the GobbleGums do in practice is explained in our Zombies guide.
Black Ops 7 on Game Pass
As of 19 October 2026, the full game is included with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, on Xbox consoles and on Xbox on PC. We checked this in the Microsoft Store, where subscribers get it for free. Your subscription has to be active. Whether subscribing beats buying is covered in our Game Pass verdict.
COD Points and the Battle Pass
COD Points (CP) are the in-game currency, shared between Black Ops 7 and Warzone. These are the Steam bundles:
| CP bundle | Steam price |
|---|---|
| 200 CP | €1.99 |
| 500 CP | €4.99 |
| 1,000 (+100) CP | €9.99 |
| 2,000 (+400) CP | €19.99 |
| 4,000 (+1,000) CP | €39.99 |
| 7,500 (+2,000) CP | €74.99 |
| 10,000 (+3,000) CP | €99.99 |
The Battle Pass has a free tier with a few rewards. The Base Battle Pass costs 1,100 CP and the Battle Pass Bundle 2,400 CP (it adds 20 Battle Pass Tokens). The top option is BlackCell: the Battle Pass, 20 tokens, 1,100 CP and exclusive content. For the current Season 06, BlackCell costs €29.99 on Steam. Rewards are cosmetic and give no gameplay advantage. Past seasons’ Battle Passes can no longer be bought. What’s in the current one is covered in our Season 6 guide.
Crossplay and cross-progression
Black Ops 7 supports crossplay, so you play with people on other platforms. Your progress is tied to your Activision account and carries over to every platform linked to that account. Move from console to PC and your progress comes with you.
Banned accounts and buying the game
Check your account status before you buy. Players with a permanent ban from earlier Call of Duty games (since Modern Warfare 2019) may not be eligible to play Black Ops 7. Battle.net accounts permanently banned in Black Ops 6, MW3, MW2 or Warzone can’t buy the game in the Blizzard store and won’t be able to play online modes on other platforms.
Languages
On Steam, Black Ops 7 has full audio in these languages:
| Full audio | Interface and subtitles only |
|---|---|
| English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Spanish (Latin America), Simplified Chinese, Portuguese (Brazil) | Korean, Polish, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Arabic |
If you’d rather not pay for Call of Duty at all, Warzone is the free one, not Black Ops 7. Details are in Is Warzone free?
