Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is in Season 06, subtitled The Haunting. The season started on 17 September 2026, it is shared between Black Ops 7 and Warzone, and Activision has not yet announced when it ends. Here is what it added to multiplayer, Zombies and Endgame, what the Battle Pass and BlackCell cost, and what is happening around Black Ops 7 as Modern Warfare 4 arrives. What Season 06 adds
Multiplayer
There are two new maps. Quantum is a new 6v6 map set in an Arctic computing centre run by The Guild. Bloodstead is a horror makeover of the launch map Homestead. On top of that come T.E.D.D. Trials (a limited-time mode played on three zombie maps, Roadkill, Inferno and Lost), Hordepoint, Freeze Tag and the Black Ops 7 Appreciation Moshpit.
Zombies
Zombies gets a new Survival map, Tenshu. Survival maps are smaller slices of the game world. Rex Infernus, the map that closed the Black Ops 7 Zombies story in Season 05, now has Directed Mode, the guided main quest already available for Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum. There is also a big Rogue Run update and a Super Easter Egg. All Zombies maps are listed in our Zombies guide.
Endgame
In Endgame, the co-op PvE mode set in Avalon, night has fallen over the city. The season also adds the Forbidden Summoning event.
Weapons and events
Season 06 adds four weapons:
- TR51 Para – assault rifle,
- VMP – SMG,
- Arcblade – melee weapon,
- Roc 20mm – special weapon.
The season also has a DOOM-themed event with a matching store bundle. Warzone gets Haunted Hollow and Giant Infected for 64 players, which we cover in our Warzone Season 06 news story.

What is 1,100 CP in real money? On Steam the 1,000 + 100 CP pack costs €9.99. CP are shared between Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The price of the game itself and its editions is covered in our guide to editions and price.
BlackCell also comes with a loyalty bonus: each additional BlackCell season gives you 10% more XP, up to 50%, and only across Black Ops 7 seasons. Battle Pass rewards are cosmetic and give no gameplay advantage. Battle Passes from past seasons can no longer be bought.
According to Activision Support, the Battle Pass works in pages. XP earns you tokens, which unlock rewards in any order you like. Unlock five rewards on a page and the next page opens. Each page ends with an HVT reward.
What’s next: Modern Warfare 4 and the end of Black Ops Royale
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from Infinity Ward launches on 23 October 2026, with its campaign in early access since 16 October 2026. According to Activision, its Season 1 follows shortly after launch. As of 19 October 2026, Activision has not announced when Black Ops 7 Season 06 ends.
Two things are either ending or shorter than usual in Season 06:
- Black Ops Royale – the Blackout-inspired battle royale in Warzone (no loadouts, no Gulag, no buy stations), announced on 13 March 2026. Season 06 is the last chance to play it.
- Ranked Play – runs for a shortened period in Season 06.
