Mudridge Cabin looks like two shacks in the middle of a swamp, yet it hides two sliding puzzles plus a chest most players never reach. Both solutions are below as exact move sequences. Read the part about the mud first, though: walking into it is the fastest way to lose progress before you even get to the first puzzle.

How to get there without dying in the mud
Mudridge Cabin lies south of Unicron Cliff in Pororin Forest: two small shacks in the middle of a deep mud pit. The mud isn’t scenery. If you step into it, it slows you to a walk and drains your health quickly.
Use the surrounding platforms. As Kliff, the fastest route is Aerial Force Palm for height and then gliding straight onto the buildings. Axiom Force bridges the same gap too, if you prefer pulling yourself across.
Bandits hold the area, so deal with them before you start sliding tiles. Climbing onto the roofs and shooting them down with a bow or firearm is much safer than landing in the middle of them.
Puzzle 1: the small box and the musical earring
On the upper floor of the smaller shack you’ll find a small box on the wall with a 3 × 3 grid in which six tiles can be moved. The goal is to slide them until they form a picture.
Enter the sequence exactly: 3 down, 2 right, 1 right, 4 up, 5 left, 2 down, 1 right, 4 up, 5 left, 6 left.
Inside is the Flower Petal Earring. Once equipped, it lets you play music with L2 + R2 (LT + RT on an Xbox controller). It’s a small thing, and also one of the few purely playful items in the game.
Puzzle 2: the door and the elixir formula
The second mechanism is built into the locked door on the lower platform, so you’re opening a whole room, not a chest.
Sequence: 3 down, 2 right, 5 up, 6 left, 3 down, 2 right, 1 right, 4 up, 5 left, 2 down, 3 left, 6 up.
Inside you’ll find the recipe for Meliara’s Lesser Elixir, which raises your maximum health by 75 and increases attack speed by one level for five minutes. That’s a usable boss potion, not inventory filler.
The hidden chest
There’s also a third reward that looks unreachable. There’s no mechanism involved; the terrain is the solution. Turn to the southeast, climb onto a narrow ledge and crouch through a hidden passage to the other side.
The chest holds the Goblin King’s Treasure Dagger, which gives a 10% chance of an extra hide when skinning animals. If you craft or upgrade gear at all, that detour pays for itself many times over.
