Marpo has already stood on stage at the biggest Czech gaming event, but this time he’s showing up somewhere else in a completely different role – as a player. He picked up Fortnite last year together with his son, and it looks like even he didn’t expect how deep the game would pull him in. When he decided to separate his gaming activities and started brand-new social accounts for them, it was already clear he had competitive ambitions and was aiming high.
Zero Build specialist with a familiar duo partner
Marpo spends most of his time in Zero Build, which should pay off here. The second thing working in his favor is chemistry: he regularly plays duos with the YouTuber and musician Porty, so he couldn’t pass up the chance to grab him for his Clash Energy Games roster. In the draft Porty was the cheapest player available, but thanks to that existing synergy he has a clear role in the squad.
Taxrom as the paper carry, Vortrex as the experience
On paper, the biggest driving force of the lineup should be Taxrom. Beyond content creation you may know him as a map maker, which gives him unusually broad game knowledge – if you want to know what the current playground looks like, we’ve covered the Fortnite map separately. The fourth member, Vortrex, brings competitive experience of his own. He’s not a huge Fortnite star, but he definitely has something to offer.
The smallest budget doesn’t mean the weakest team
Marpo put his four together for the lowest budget in the draft, and that’s exactly why you shouldn’t underestimate them. He isn’t leaving anything to chance either – right after the draft the players dove into shared practice to align their playstyles before the tournament.
