Counter-Strike 2’s second Major of 2027 is heading to Shanghai, China. Perfect World Esports confirmed that it will organize the championship during November and December, returning to the city three years after its previous Major.

The next three Major destinations
Two first-time hosts will welcome the championship before its return to Shanghai:

- First Major of 2027 – Buenos Aires, Argentina: FiReSPORTS will stage its first Major, with Argentina also making its debut as a host country.

Information reported in February points to ESL planning a 2028 Major in either Brazil or Australia, with BLAST expected to organize another tournament in the United States. These remain reported plans, rather than confirmed destinations, and Brazil and Australia are alternatives for the proposed ESL event.
That distinction matters if you are looking ahead: Singapore, Buenos Aires, and Shanghai form the confirmed run of three Majors outside Europe. The reported 2028 plans should not yet be treated as a finalized extension of that schedule.
