Dune Awakening: Testing Station 152

Dune Awakening: Testing Station 152

Testing Station 152 is the lightning station: shorter and cleaner than the radiation or poison runs, with two easy lockdown rooms and one boss who can wipe you in a single hit on higher difficulties. The whole run is an exercise in movement, and once you get the trap timing down, it becomes one of the most repeatable stations in Challenge Mode.

What to bring

  • Bandages and medkits, always.
  • Gear with decent durability. Even a quick run wears it down.
  • A full Literjon. Hydration means stamina, and stamina is what makes trap timing safe.
  • A reliable ranged weapon. The biggest relief of the whole run: you kill things without having to step into a trap.

Unlike the radiation stations, you don’t need exotic consumables here. You need patience. For that patience, treat yourself outside the game too – the GamersTogether shop has fan-made Dune: Awakening merch, t-shirts, posters and mugs.

Traps: four rules

Every corridor is a timing puzzle, not a sprint:

  1. Stop at the threshold and let one full cycle play out before you move.
  2. Only go when you can cross the safe section in one push. Stopping halfway is what kills you.
  3. Never fight inside a trap. Pull enemies out onto safe ground.
  4. Shoot from range so you don’t have to panic. Panic is exactly what puts you on an active tile.

Two lockdown rooms

Both are deliberately easy: they’re pacing stops, not a challenge. Keep your distance, clear them methodically and stay away from the tiles along the edge of the danger zone.

Reset properly between them: heal, drink, recharge. The station is short, so there’s no reason to reach the boss without topping up.

The electric boss

On higher difficulties, any electric ability that catches you can drop you instantly. The whole fight is therefore about controlling space:

  • Play at range. The electric “one-shot” mechanics punish greedy melee the most.
  • Move, but with purpose. Small sidesteps work better than a frantic sprint that drives you into the danger zone.
  • Treat every charge-up as lethal. Break line of sight, move into a clear lane and come back once the pattern finishes.
  • Use short damage windows. Long strings lock you into a reload animation right when the next attack lands.
  • Deal with adds immediately once they start cutting off your escape routes. You lose this fight by losing space, not by doing too little damage.

Why run 152 specifically

It’s short, predictable once you’ve mastered the traps, and gives the same augmentation schematics and Schematic Patterns as the longer stations. For farming Challenge Mode rewards without a thirty-minute commitment per attempt, it’s the most efficient choice.

FAQ

How long does Station 152 take?

Roughly 15 to 20 minutes, which makes it one of the faster stations in Challenge Mode.

Can I do it solo?

Yes. The lockdown rooms are easy and the boss is a positioning fight, not a damage race.

What kills people there?

Fighting inside traps and getting caught by the boss’s electric pattern up close. Both are movement mistakes, not gear problems.

Do I need special consumables?

No. Bandages, water and durable gear are enough, unlike Station 89, where you need a radiation suit and iodine pills.

What drops from the station?

Challenge Mode rewards: augmentation schematics and Schematic Patterns, with the tier matching the difficulty you clear.
