EA confirmed the 3 November end date in its Steam announcement of 6 October 2026, and the Xbox Store lists the same date for the Split 2 Battle Pass (available until 3 November 2026, 19:00 CET). According to EA’s help pages, a season in Apex lasts roughly three months and lines up with the Ranked season.

What Marked brought

Bloodhound, Loba and Rampart

The headliner is a reworked Bloodhound. Bloodhound’s passive now reveals enemy tracks, and the legend has a new ultimate, Allfather’s Cloak. It makes players in range invisible, and the effect lasts up to 12 seconds after leaving the area. Invisibility ends when you take a hit or fire your weapon. Loba and Rampart were buffed too. How each legend and class works is in our overview of legends and classes.

A rebuilt World’s Edge

World’s Edge was reworked. East Village replaced Climatizer, War Camp replaced Survey Camp, Tree Settlement replaced The Tree, and Sorting Factory and Stacks returned. Which maps are in rotation right now is shown in our maps and modes guide.

Core loot and Corrupted Attachments

According to the patch notes, the season made big changes to loot in Core (competitive battle royale, both Ranked and Unranked):

  • Mythic and Gold bins, gold attachments, gold backpacks and Hot Zones are gone,
  • there are at most two Arsenals per location (POI), and they only activate with EVO Harvesters,
  • the upgrade panel only improves gear by one tier, up to purple at most,
  • energy weapons have their own ammo reserve in Core and Wildcard that refills over time, so you no longer pick up energy ammo.

New this season are Corrupted Attachments, altered weapon attachments such as the Headseeker Barrel, Tactical Laser, Overflowing Magazine, Agile Standard Stock and Rapid Sniper Stock. You can have at most one on a weapon.

Split 2 and the Ranked reset

Split 2 started on 15 September 2026. It brought a new map rotation and a Ranked reset that moved players down to a lower division or rank. Exactly where you land is in the table in our Ranked guide. The Split 2 patch is covered in our news piece on the Split 2 patch.

Season 30 Battle Pass and price

The Battle Pass has two tracks, Free and Paid, each with 60 levels. There are four tiers: Free, Premium, Ultimate and Ultimate+. Every season has two Battle Passes, one per split, so a new one is running in Split 2.

TierPrice
Premium950 Apex Coins
Ultimate€9.99 (EA web store)
Ultimate+€19.99 (EA web store)

Prices apply to Split 2 of the Marked season as of 20 October 2026. Console prices depend on the store in your country. Ultimate and Ultimate+ are bought with real money. If you upgrade from Premium to Ultimate or Ultimate+, you get 950 Apex Coins back. Ultimate+ also gives you 10 instant levels, every legend playable for the duration of the split and more rewards. The paid track includes, among other things, 1,300 Apex Coins (200 of them on the Free track) and 1,200 Crafting Metals. The Battle Pass can be gifted. Coin bundle prices are in our guide to Apex Coins prices.

Blood Pact event

From 13 October to 3 November 2026, the Blood Pact event is live. Wildcard is played on a haunted Kings Canyon, and you pick a side: Beasts or Demons. The details are in our news piece on the Blood Pact event.

What resets at the end of the season

At the end of the season, Battle Pass levels and Ranked ranks reset. Everything else stays with you:

  • Legend Tokens (earned by playing, mainly for legends),

  • Exotic Shards and Heirloom Shards,
  • all your cosmetics.

Ranked rewards arrive at the start of the next season, based on the highest rank you reached in Season 30.

What we know about the next season

Not much. As of 20 October 2026, EA hasn’t announced the start date or content of Season 31, and its own help pages point to the official ea.com site.

Here’s what is confirmed: on 30 September 2026, EA wrote that the biggest Ranked matchmaking changes following this year’s tests will arrive in Seasons 31 and 32. The Marked season page also announces a major Ranked update planned for Season 32. EA hasn’t said what it will include yet.
