The new season of FC 27 BRNO powered by Hyundai is about to start, and it starts fast. Four open qualifiers go live at the end of September and anyone can sign up – no invitation, no seeding, no previous results required. The finalists of each qualifier move on to the league phase, where they are joined by eight invited players from last season’s finals. Everything wraps up live at the Life! festival.
Four open qualifiers, and you can play all of them
The qualifiers run from September 29 to October 8, always on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Every event starts at 18:00, but registration is already open, so you can lock in your spot ahead of time. On the day of the tournament you only need to confirm your attendance in the tournament system – after that it’s all on you and the Single Elimination bracket.
- Format: Single Elimination bracket
- Matches: BO1, with extra time and penalties if the game ends level
- Platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox
- Dates: September 29 – October 8, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 18:00
The winner advances through the bracket, while a loss simply means waiting for the next date – you’re free to enter all four qualifiers. Each qualifier ends at the finals stage, which does not have to be played out.
Eight invited players are waiting in the league phase
The qualified players will run into the eight best performers from last season. Only Dominik „Revy” Révai dropped out of that group after declining the invitation. The competition is strong, but far from unbeatable – the new EA Sports FC 27 season is a fresh start for everyone, and last year showed that breaking into the domestic elite is a realistic goal. League phase and the live finals
The league phase runs from October 3 to November 2 and keeps the format you know from last season. Sixteen players fight it out in a Swiss system, where three wins mean a ticket to the Life! festival and three losses mean the end of the road.
The eight survivors meet on November 22 directly at the Brno exhibition grounds, where the Life! festival takes place. The final stage is played in a Double Elimination format for a prize pool of 30,000 CZK – and the winners also secure an early slot in the season finals.
