AION 2 is a free-to-play MMORPG from South Korea’s NCSOFT and a direct sequel to the 2009 AION. It is set in Atreia two hundred years after the events of the original game and is built around flight: the sky here isn’t a backdrop, it’s the battlefield. The global version launches on 30 September 2026 in early access for owners of Founder’s Packs and goes free for everyone on 5 October 2026. It runs on PC only (Steam and the PURPLE launcher); a mobile client exists only for the Korean and Taiwanese versions.
