Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 10 with Gorr the God Butcher, a Scarlet Witch rework, and The Godbomb Battle Pass. The September 11 update also brings back the Season 4 Battle Pass for a limited time, extends Endgame Encore, and fixes several ability, audio, and movement issues.

Gorr arrives and Scarlet Witch gets a rework
New villain: Gorr the God Butcher
After assassinating two deities in the story, Gorr the God Butcher reveals himself and brings his crusade to Marvel Rivals. The update also adds three story entries:

- Loki Lore: Journey into Mystery
Scarlet Witch’s abilities and gameplay change

Season 10 Battle Pass: The Godbomb
The Godbomb introduces 10 new costume sets. Highlighted outfits include White Fox – Cosmic Kumiho, Captain America – Astral Aegis, and Loki – The Chronicler.
Season 4 Battle Pass returns temporarily
The Season 4 Battle Pass, Fruit of Immortality, returns from September 11 at 09:00 through September 24 at 09:00. You can purchase it through the Reality Link Point interface in the Battle Pass menu.
The Tetrameron story event
The new seasonal story event, The Tetrameron, has you assist Loki, The Chronicler, by completing tasks to earn rewards. The announcement does not list individual rewards or an exact event schedule.
Endgame Encore extended
Endgame Encore is being extended to continue the celebration of the Avengers: Endgame re-release. During the event, you can use the Encore Coupon for a 20% discount on MCU-themed Costume Bundles.

Achievement progress carries over
Recent story and map updates have made some achievement requirements no longer valid. This patch updates the affected achievements, automatically carries over your existing progress, and preserves completed achievements. You do not need to unlock them again.

IGNITE Series Stage 2 Drops
Esports Drops roll out in batches beginning with the Group Stage on September 17 at 09:00. By accumulating enough watch time, you can earn Cyclops – Will of Galacta, related bundle content, and esports-themed Drops.
The final batch goes live for the Playoffs on October 15 at 11:00. Some rewards are only available by watching matches during their specific week, so you will need to check the relevant viewing window. Exact watch-time requirements are not included in these notes.
IGNITE Stage 2 and Championship updates
IGNITE Stage 2 schedule
The regular season starts across regions on these dates:
- September 17: Oceania Series and China Series.
- September 18: Americas Series and EMEA Series.
- September 25: Asia Series.
The Playoffs will determine the 12 teams attending the 2026 IGNITE Grand Finals:
- October 8: the Pacific Series, combining Asia and Oceania, begins its Playoffs for two Grand Finals spots.
- October 15: Americas and EMEA begin their respective Playoffs, with four Grand Finals spots available in each region.
- October 16: China begins its Playoffs to decide the final two Grand Finals spots.
Marvel Rivals Championship Season 10
Participate in the Open Qualifiers and complete at least six matches to secure Units and exclusive rewards for your roster. You can check the in-game MRC rewards preview for the full details.
Season 10 MRC continues to add Champion Points toward your Faction’s 2026 total. After this season, Season 11 is the final opportunity to earn 2026 Championship Points.
After the 2026 competitive year, top-performing Factions from Season 11 MRC and highly ranked Factions on the 2026 Champion Points leaderboard will receive invitations to the Ignite Series 2026 Annual Qualifier. They will compete alongside selected pro-circuit teams for a starting spot in the 2027 Pro Circuit. Exact rules are available through the in-game MRC page or official social channels.
In-game Esports system and predictions
After maintenance, the Esports system will include IGNITE Stage 2 formats, schedules, teams, and player information. You can subscribe to tournament phases to receive in-game notifications before matches begin, and cancel those subscriptions whenever you want.
Phase 2 Group Stage Predictions are open. Submit predictions before September 17, subscribe to schedules, teams, or players, and watch matches through the in-game Livestreams tab to complete event missions. Rewards include Sprays, Titles, Units, and more.
Intel XeSS 3 Frame Generation support
The update adds Intel XeSS 3 Frame Generation support for compatible Intel graphics cards. When enabled, it can insert up to three AI-generated frames between two rendered frames to improve visual smoothness.
The feature works alongside Intel Xe Low Latency, or XeLL, to reduce input lag. The announcement does not provide a list of supported graphics cards or specific performance figures.

- Devil Dinosaur: fixed a Savage Predation bug that could send a bitten enemy into the allied spawn room.
- Rocket Raccoon: fixed abnormal positioning after passing through Krakoan gates while using the Planet X Pals Team-Up.
- Winter Soldier: fixed an unexpected Ultimate reset when hitting Thor while he was feigning death during the Ragnarok Rebirth Team-Up.
- Peni Parker: fixed Cyber-Web Snare entering cooldown immediately upon casting, which had made its actual cooldown shorter than intended.
Audio, visual clarity, and movement
- Black Cat: optimized footstep audio so you can hear her approach normally.
- Emma Frost: fixed Spirit Breaker Team-Up sound effects triggering while the Enhanced Effect was inactive.
- Devil Dinosaur: optimized visual effects for Impact Beam, Buddy Barrier, and the Surf & Turf Team-Up to reduce screen clutter.
- Ultron, Jeff the Land Shark, and Devil Dinosaur: fixed traversal Emotes causing movement-speed glitches during combat.
